Future of Pakistan Bangladesh relations

. .
every other day your PM and her minister's issue nonsense statements against us you refused to attend SAARC meeting your team refused to play cricket with Pakistan, PIcYour PM was shariPicof 71 surrender with modi to tell us that you are friends of india and our enemies you are teaming up with India against us you are hanging pro pakistan people after 45 heart and most of those people are in their 70s but still our stupid govt didn't issues any statement against BD

Those are very regrettable. Sports should not be mixed with politics. It's just a really bad combination that just kills the spirit of the sport. A minister should attend those meetings even though SAARC isn't much regardless of what some other country's grievances are. Those moves just raises eyebrows. Another country's affairs should not be of Bangladesh's business.

Hassina Wajid is very anti Pakistani. She has deep rooted hatred for Pakistan. I don't know how the common Bangladeshi or Bangladeshi Army feels towards Pakistan. Would anybody like to elaborate?

I know we do business with Pakistan. If it is profitable, why not? There are three Pakistani banks operating in Bangladesh, albeit not great in the competition (their profits are comparatively dismal). This is purely from a civilian perspective.

As for the military, I cannot say really. Perhaps someone here can say more. They did however use Pakistani equipment during the BNP admin, namely an anti-tank missile (forgot the name). I personally think that a military shouldn't have any 'feels' on anything. A military's purpose is to fight and destroy a nation's enemies.

With bullocks Pakistanis and bangladeshis on two sides. I never see it happening. But then there are people like me and my friends every now and then who make the best out of little things in life. Political wise my answer is no.... Personal life of an individual it's possible.

. . .
It makes sense for Bangladesh in its current position with India to go after Pakistan in rhetoric, but boy is it petty and sometimes a little pathetic, if you'll excuse the term. Pakistan shouldn't respond to it, there's nothing to be gained, or indeed lost, BD and Pakistan can both prosper on their own and of styles of their choosing.

You have hostile India a unfriendly Iran a problematic Afghanistan now you want another hostile country to the list. Can you clarify what hostility we did with you in last 45 years?

That maybe, but they are ALL powerless to do anything to Pakistan and that's all that matters. There is no need to declare bangladesh a hostile or friendly state. You are 1000s of kms away from us and have nothing in common with us whatsoever. Declaring bangladesh a hostile state is like declaring the south Pole a hostile state to Pakistan.

Why do Bangladeshis assume Pakistanis = Punjabis?

Yes, we should deal with them carefully as haseena is influenced by India but I m talking about people to people relations...

But the most pertinent question is DO we really need to deal with bangladesh? They are so different, detached and far away from us that there doesn't appear to be the need to. If anything what is going on in the Middle East right now does have a DIRECT effect on us. That is why we strengthen the brotherhood with Turkey and remain completely impartial to what happens in the GCC, Syria etc.

In any future conflict between Pak and India it would be interesting to see BDs position. Would BD send its army to fight along India agaisnt Pak? Something to ponder over perhaps?

Your inception lol.

Anyway, we are willing to move on when you are.

Why do Bangladeshis assume Pakistanis = Punjabis?

Because half of Pakistan = Punjabis.

Bangladesh won't get involved, it would be pointless and damn risky, because if Pakistan starts to get hammered conventionally, nukes will be launched and bye bye Hindustan and Bangladesh.

. . .
can there ever be friendly relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh? If not between the governments but what about the people of the two nations? How do Bangladeshis feel towards Pakistanis and Pakistan?

Just export your drama, art and culture here, you will see positive change with us.

Increase business and military relation with us if possible.

And increase education exchange program.

Provide scholarship, collaborative research etc. and highlight those in the media.

And reduce your terrorism issue which represent PK as a mass to us.

Lastly, media can play the most important thing to make stronger bond. Buy our most circulated media as India did.

Pakistan and Bangladesh should build people to people relations.

Yes it will be the best way. fuk the govt.
