Those are very regrettable. Sports should not be mixed with politics. It's just a really bad combination that just kills the spirit of the sport. A minister should attend those meetings even though SAARC isn't much regardless of what some other country's grievances are. Those moves just raises eyebrows. Another country's affairs should not be of Bangladesh's business.
I know we do business with Pakistan. If it is profitable, why not? There are three Pakistani banks operating in Bangladesh, albeit not great in the competition (their profits are comparatively dismal). This is purely from a civilian perspective.
As for the military, I cannot say really. Perhaps someone here can say more. They did however use Pakistani equipment during the BNP admin, namely an anti-tank missile (forgot the name). I personally think that a military shouldn't have any 'feels' on anything. A military's purpose is to fight and destroy a nation's enemies.
