This is a historical issue with that population and a lot of it has to do with the education systems of India . The complete disparity between Pakistan & India with regards to self value is a quagmire within itself.
Indian nationalism is embedded within their psyche to such a fault and so linked with verbal mob bravado that it is detrimental to their maturity as a nation.And now these fools are taking a flawed characterization and adding religion to it which can only incite further divisions within them for minorities and any resistance to this fascist mob that instability is all but guaranteed.

Pakistanis on the other hand require affirmation identity from elsewhere to assert their values - be it racial or religious.. Arabs, Turks, Aryans, Barelvi or Deobandi and so on. Tell a Pakistani that they are just a Pakistani, no more, no less.. no Rajput, Syed or some long lost link to a ruler and they crumble in self doubt.
