Aww did I hurt your feelings? Tell me again where these USAF F15s have been stationed? And exactly what interests the US has in that region, or actually - which countries the US feels the need to protect there?

That said, let me clarify something - my post wasnt intended to be anti Saudi/UAE, but rather reflected my surprise that even with all the hardware these two countries have, they still need the US to fight Iran genuinely, why? US "interests" (read: Saudi/UAE) shouldn't need US protection but should be able to protect themselves.

USA is not trying to contain Iran but USA is trying to start a war. This is how they will do it.
Block Iranian oil. Wait for Iran to retaliate. Then bomb them using an air base in GCC. Iran strikes back if then it violates that GCC country and there you go you have. Your war.

They don't need Iran to sell weapons to Arabs. They can label Turkey as the new threat or simply just say give us money or we will cause a revolution in your country.

If US doesn't attack or do something. Everyone will know they were only bluffing and it will hurt their image. Don't rule out an attack.

Despite having huge resources of oil, Iran didn't have much. Their navy consists of tin silver like ships. Almost no power to defend themselves. Just a number of SAMs on ships.

I think if i'm right here, the US news constantly says how the Iraq war costed so much. But this cost refers mostly to government money being spent on companies in the US. So it's just money flowing from people's pockets to industries in the US through the government. Not an economist but that doesn't sound bad to me for the economy.

Very different if all that money was flowing to companies outside of the US, that would've been truly damaging.

End of day arabs will pay all logistics as long these fleets stationed there ... like Trump said in his last speech , KSA need to pay 4.3 billion dollar for all protection we are providing. Nothing is free in this world. Someone has to pay the price to knock down other.

After Gaza skirmish and Assad winning in Syria, they want to weaken Iran for the interest of greater Israel.
