Rtd General Hamid Gul is not one those people who can do or think anything good for India.But I admire his character nonetheless.Its the way he carries himself and his personality.One thing I noticed,that while the other two were fighting each other,interrupting each other,everybody was listening when Hamid Gul was speaking,without interruption.He has a pretty good idea about when the anchor is going for a break as well,and never started speaking at that time.Good qualities to learn from him there,though I don't agree with his views.

Orya Maqbool Jan is a renowned columnist, poet and CSS officer from Pakistan. He has received numerous national awards, including the best Urdu columnist in 2004. One collection of poetry has been published.

He has a Masters degree in social work from Punjab University, Lahore. He was the deputy commissioner and district magistrate of three districts for about five years and assistant commissioner and sub divisional magistrate of three sub divisions for about three years. This involves an overall responsibility of law and order, monitoring of development activities, welfare of people, revenue collection personnel management and public relationship of a very sensitive nature. He is presently working as Director General Walled City Project in Lahore after having worked as Information Secretary to the Punjab Government. He speaks fluent English, Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto and Persian.He also has functional knowledge of Arabic and Balochi.
Management And Policy Making

He has served GoP as senior-level policy maker in the bureaucracy of Pakistan, including Managing Director of Balochistan Water & Sanitation Authority; Director, Social Welfare, Human Rights & Women Development; Director General Archaeology. He is an expert in multi-facet budget making, establishment matters and monitoring of Development activities
Administration

Also served as Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of three Districts, Assistant Commissioner and Sub Divisional Magistrate of three Sub Divisions.

Have three years teaching experience as Director(studies), National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Quetta. The Institute is responsible for imparting training to higher level policy makers and civil servants in Pakistan Have five years’ experience of teaching at Masters level in Social Work Department, University of Balochistan.

Was appointed Executive Director, ECO, also worked as Project Director and counterpart with UNICEF’s Projects on CRC (Child Right Convention) & CEDAW (Convention for elimination of Discrimination against Women) and Project Director of Sheish Mahal restoration project and Master plans of Lahore Fort and Shalamar Gardens in collaboration with UNESCO.

He was awarded Best Columnist of Pakistan for four years i.e. 2001,2002,2003,2004. Won the prestigious Award Of APNS ( All Pakistan News Paper Society) consecutively among various others.

He retired as a Federal Secretary from the coveted CSS cadre.
