Vital points:
  • Biosys, a Turkish biomedical company, started the project to build the ventilators 8 years back
  • In 2018, ASELSAN and Biosys merged
  • Now, the serial production has started thanks to the funding and production facilities sharing from Archelik, Baykar (TB2/Akinji etc. UAV manufacturer), TAI, ASELSAN etc. More are joining
  • The Turkish defense industries has ordered for 1,000 machines. They'll be donating them to the hospitals
  • The Turkish Health Ministry has ordered for 5,000 units
  • Turkey has more than enough ventilators for now
  • If needed Turkey will donate these ventilators to the countries like Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Katar etc.
  • Turkey is the 6th country to have indigenous ventilators, thanks to her defense industries

The news source that holds you and that wonderful ideology has not even mentioned Arçelik. If they didn't work, this device would be produced "babayı". I really wonder what Baykar was looking for in his life who did nothing but make a collection product
The post has been updated...

Radar guy managed to involve politics even in this thread.

I can already see the disgrace in the media that did not add Arçelik to this video and the newspaper. This is called "serefsizlik", and any "real Turk" make sounds for it.

Israel also began manufacturing their own ventilators using Israeli defense and civilian firms, with a 1,000$ per ventilator price tag.
We also ordered 11,000 additional ventilators, this virus won't leave us soon, until a cure/vaccine is found.

until a cure/vaccine is found

thats what I say to the ppl in germany and destroying their hope of "in april corona is over".. if this virus is really such bad than this will take longer as long as there is one person who could start the "chain reaction" again it makes no sence without a vaccine or a treatment

Hypothetically speaking, a complete, perfect isolation for 2 weeks, and then isolating anyone found ill until they are well, or unfortunately dead, will kill this disease. Then again, we don't live in a perfect world, we need to flatten the curve so the health care system won't fall apart and then death rates sky rocket.
