Thanks for the info. I'm total noob about Indian navy. Can you please tell me what's the difference between Talwar and Shivalik class? Which one is bigger and better equipped?

And its also stealthier. The second Shivalik-class ship,
INS Satpura, will have several new features like the flush deck added which will increase the stealth further.

In short, Shivalik is way superior to any Talwar class frigate, yes.

our shipbuilding factories are full with orders and navy wanted immediate warships, so we ask for this ships. I think this ship is made at Yantram russia.


shivalik is as good as this machine. Indian navy made almost everything, the production rate is slow. we make destroyers and frigates. Now we make carriers and submarines as well. And all are world class.

India makes much more advanced Shivalik class frigates. India also building Kolkata class more advanced than any Russian ships.
