Fresh campaign launched for NSG membership

. .
Water bull

there is no free lunch. you have a lot of selling to do.

Pakistan can get NSG membership if they act as a responsible player - no proxies for terrorism, no more AQ Khan sagas

China might have to make assurances on your behalf

Oh thats all bullcrap. All it needs is heavy diplomacy that's all. India has on-going issues in disputed land yet NSG willingly accepted it.

.
And Pakistan needs US support in Pakistan, who will be affected if Afghanistan is taken over by terrorists, its not US its Paksiatan bro, dont flatter yourself .
Hahaahaaa u don't know the ground reality then

.
As far as A.Q. Khan the burden of proof is on Pakistan. you never allowed anyone to interview him.
PAF C-130 do not land in Pyongyang on A.Q. Khan orders

He never broke any European or international laws because they didn't exist. He manipulated the lax export control system in Europe which he later helped strengthen. The Tinner family fought their cases in court and were acquitted. We did the right thing by helping Europe fix its export control system. Today, the laws are on the book and the export control made effective. All thanks to A.Q. Khan.

Indian government has never denied the North Koreans studying there. They studied there on a general course on space science and GIS.

These DPRK scientists gained hands-on experience in India which led to the breakthroughs that now endanger USA, South Korea, and Japan. Of course, these developments don't have any impact on India or its security but it does on North America, a place where you currently reside.

Here's the breakdown:
  • Saddam and Gaddafi are dead.
  • Kim Jong-un is alive, he has submarines and SLBM that can strike USA, South Korea, Japan.

India is not part of NSG so Indian wishlist is not part of the calculus.

This is between US and Pakistan.

The happenings in Kashmir have no impact on NSG.
There is no whiff of India giving any nuclear technology to anyone.

Ignoring the AQ Khan episode Pakistan would have to give iron clad assurances that there are no nukes for Saudi Arabia. The major powers might insist on Pakistani signing the FMCT.

This would be not an Indian wishlist. Other major powers have their interests. China might want to limit your nuclear arsenal too.

As again total bulshit from you. It is this very reason why you always get banned.

When India can secure waiver owing to its strong diplomatic clout and business base, Pakistan can too Provided that it has strong leverage. The factors that you just mentioned are all busllshit

Pakistan is facing energy crises and therefore it deserves NSG membership.

In a thread that have a Pakistani issue being discussed, the obsession of Pakistan's neighbor can be clearly visible from mere counting of butt hurt trolls.

Pakistan has 1/7th the leverage of India. Of course there is a lot of baggage

North Korea would not survive without Chinese help. North Korean submarines are a joke.

True, at this point. Who knows what future hold. So saying stuff like because of this we cannot enter NSG is all nothing but BS. India is non-signatory of NPT yet it is being invited in NSG

Not really. Even with sanctions they managed to launch SLBM. How exactly is this a joke ?

China is aware Pakistan has noble intentions and our nuclear arsenal is to keep an aggressive India at bay.

Saudi Arabia? Saudi Arabia is a close American ally, has been since its inception. She is also the spiritual home of Muslims around the globe. She has signed NPT. Saudi Arabia has no intentions of hosting nuclear weapons on the holy land. That sends the wrong signal to the wider Muslim world. Not only that, Saudi Arabia is against nuclear weapons in Middle East. Within EU, France and Saudi Arabia enjoy great relations and common interest of keeping Middle East nuclear weapons free. Pakistan, of course, supports this.

In short, Pakistan's NSG case can only be bolstered by our relations with China and Saudi Arabia, not harmed. You have to be an Indian to see threats in Saudi-Pakistani-Chinese relations.

North Korean submarines might be a joke to you sitting in Canada, it is not to the people living in Japan and South Korea. Worse, North Korean long-range missile arsenal is pointed at USA. Of course, you being Indian-Canadian are not worried about USA, South Korea, and Japan. You downplay the role India played in training North Korean scientist and creating these threats for people in East Asia and North America. Thanks to India nuclear war is once again a very real possibility.

China is playing the responsible role of managing North Korea.

you wont even clear a job interview,if you tell them i need the job because you deserve it forget about NSG..you need to show them why you deserve the job and you add something to the company.

What to bro, what we consider basic and general seems to be high end for some.

Not sure if Pakistan really deserves the membership if we go strictly by the past record, i.e. the dark adventures of Mr. Khan, but for the overall stability of the South-Asian region, I think it will be good if Pakistan enters the club along with India. But the road ahead for Pakistan in convincing the global powers of its sobered-up character would be a bit bumpy, if not closed. Let's see how your diplomats play the cards.

For us, we've made it clear - our commitment to honoring our part of the Climate Agreement rests on our entry. It's a strong persuasion on many levels.

For Pakistan, I feel the strong persuasion factor would be "trust". If your diplomats can successfully project your pitch as something like this: "Okay, we admit we committed some mistakes in the past and we feel sorry for that... but you know what, we've changed. For instance, recently, we helped US in Afghanistan in getting rid of some high-profile targets (fill in the blanks :) ) and... (fill in the blanks) )" You'll have to manufacture events in the future that give a strong message that you have changed and are ready to honor the trust of the global powers.

And I request my Indian members to not to make it a dick-measuring contest. Pak and India, both getting membership will be good for the overall regional stability.

The NSG was formed when India was a struggling economy. By any measure India is now a major economic power. 40 out of 50 countries voted for India's NSG membership. Eight of the ten nay votes are more on procedural grounds. China and Turkey were the only nays. China has made it clear they are willing to discuss India's NSG membership.

While Pakistan can achieve it in the future it does not have the clout to get NSG membership. Even if Uncle Sam pushes for Pakistan's NSG membership country like Germany or Japan would not support Pakistan.

As far as North Korea goes firing a projectile out of submarine does not make a SLBM. India has nothing to do with North Korean missile technology

China ?? managing North Korea ?? Cut off all aid and watch them collapse

Pakistan will have to put on good behavior for a decade
1. they will have to make it crystal clear that they will not transfer nukes to anybody
2. they have to honor the FMCT and CTBT. may be not sign but adhere to it.
3. of course they have to cut support to Taliban

Note - no mention of Kashmir
