An impressive Wing Awarding Ceremony was held on the culmination of a challenging combat training of Strategic Plans Division (SPD), Special Response Force (SRF) at the Strategic Plans Division Training Academy Rawalpindi. Major General Muhammad Tahir, Director General Security Division, Strategic Plans Division, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While reviewing the parade, he said that the Special Response Force had made a qualitative addition in the Security Force; and with this batch SRF has risen to 1000.

Pakistan has taken extraordinary measures to ensure fool proof security through a comprehensive security mechanism, augmented by high tech equipment, sophisticated weapons and specially trained soldiers.

Addressing the newly passed out troops, the Chief Guest expressed deep satisfaction over the high standards achieved and emphasized in unequivocal terms the responsibilities ahead. He urged them to discharge their duties with utmost commitment, sincerity and national pride
