These western governments have no real interests to resolve this problem because they are in the business of sucking blood from the proletarians. If you meticulously study the history of Iraq, its become evidently clear that the abomination known as ISIS was created by the coalition forces. The disbandment of the Republic Guard and the empty promise of not delivering on the pension package for solders was the sole catalyst reason why the insurgency occurred in the first place. Lets not forget about the sectarian politics introduced by the United States, because after all the entire state machinery was given to the Shia community, where the question of power sharing was thrown in the dustbin. Obviously when the Republican Guards were rejected from reinstating their services to the new Iraqi Army, this created hatred and grievances against the State and its coalition backers. Most of the leadership of ISIS come from the old Republican Guard and lets not forget about Camp Bucca where they mixed 30,000 ordinary criminals with well known jihadi prisoners. Hence why Mosul fell so quickly because the amount of support they had was astonishing which is attributed by Camp Bucca. The west toppled Saddam Hussein on false pretenses and now they can suffer the consequences for playing with the lives of people on the chessboard. Their hypocrisy is obviously when Charlie Hebdo was mocking the Russian victims they were silent, where is the satirical cartoon portrait of the incident in Paris. I guess when someone feels pain and heartache in losing someone then no jokes come forwards...bunch of low life cockroaches. They don't have the stomach to send troops inside Syria or Iraq and can only bomb.
