French Expect Massive Orders for Rafael After Libyan Bombing campaign...

..............LOL.........................

Next joke please...

Yes ! it is true joke ...cuz ...if it is not then why dont u guyz go and buy it ...?.:woot:
make ure own trend then and get fkkedup....(dont follow PAF)....

How can air to ground campaign against Libya which is divided and has limited ability to fight back and defend, can prove Rafale?

Is that France lame excuse to start bombing Libya first, so they can make money out of it?

Stupid to think, this is how the French are thinking, hope India does not buy their jets now.

Most likely, Lybia is just what Dassault needed to impress potential customers, perhaps now Rafale will actually find foreign customers.

Once rejected by PAF no airforce of the world is going to buy it.
PAF sets the trend.
F-16 is one such example and FC-20 will be next.

Great Joke buddy...

Actually French were not interested to donate their fighter Jets to anyone neither they we willing to provide heavy military aid to anyone for WOT.
Any how, by your message we can assume that F35 will be a failure if PAF REJECT it.

IMO Rafale the best multi-role fighter in the MMRCA competition (for India).

I think that F 15 crash has proved that how safe Libyan sky is and the poor condition their air defense system ;)

Rafale also expected to win the Brazil tender funny how things turn out

A win-win situation for France perhaps? Maybe that's why they were the first country to recognize the opposition in Libya as the new govt.

show them the power of these aircrafts to the opposition. That way when Gaddafi is dead or forced to step down and take exile, there will be a pro-EU pro-'west' govt. in place which will need to be the new 'yes-man' in the region (sitting on sweet crude) and which would need to replace the fleet of old Mirage F1s which at the moment are all burning piles of metal and have been rendered useless

a sound stategy from their perspective

actually he had a pretty valid point......though PAF did reject it also for financial reasons since the French usually like to see all the money up front. PAF has a very stringent rubric when selecting aircraft for procurement based on pros cons and weighing all options together combined ---given that it doesnt enjoy the degree of largesse and operates under budget constraints. Capability-wise it's a sound aircraft but not superior to the Eurofighter IMHO

Rafale lost in BVR exercises againt both F/A-18Es with APG-73 and against Su-30Ks, both of whose radar range is similar or inferior to that of the Eurofighter, for example.

and while this may be an over-used adage --it still applies today:

the man who flies the gun is a very important factor as well; not just the gun itself

The world has a short memory..
Two years ago.. Dassault was in initial negotiations with Libya for the sale of the Rafale there.. but it did not work out.. politically.

I do not believe the Rafael is able to carry any A2A missile of over 100 km either, not a great aircraft at all:P

I think after gaddafi is gone, an opposition govt will be established that'll be pro west but i don't see any new fighter in their inventory. france/west will start with small arms sales to libyans before going for a major sales its going to be a long time investment in libya.

We don't know on the ground damage of Libyan air force by allied air forces. When the full damage report comes in than we can with assurity say how many aircrafts and what types are there on the ground or destroyed.
