Several countries and their AIR FORCE comandErs having watching the LIBYAN no fly zone and bombing campaign with 24 hour non stop concentration.

iT APPEARS THAT iNDIA BRAZIL & UAE & QATAR have been massively impressed by the Rafael TRUE MULTI ROLE ability.

Although F18 F16/52 MIRAGE2000 AND TYPHOONS have all plaed a part ts the new generation Rafael that is taking all the headlines.

LONG RANGE CRUISE MISSLES LIKE SCALP and its advanced low detection capability flyng over libyan sam zones have been great learning curves.

RAFAEL is taking on the most missions

Dassult have played a BLINDER

Is that France lame excuse to start bombing Libya first, so they can make money out of it?

Stupid to think, this is how the French are thinking, hope India does not buy their jets now.

I hope india buys them and put the best equipments avilable out there

Once rejected by PAF no airforce of the world is going to buy it.
PAF sets the trend.
F-16 is one such example and FC-20 will be next.

Lol
Rafale costs more than $120 million a piece, not $15 million. Its not that PAF rejected Rafale on quality factor, they never had that kind of moolah to afford it. And how many F-16s you bought by money and how many you received as military aid?

i remember even PAF went for these AC but didnt liked it

On the contrary.. The PAF was in love with the Rafale.. although the Typhoon was a bigger favorite..
And there was never any rejection.. just no buying power.

However.. if one looks in retrospect.. some of the PAF personnel who were familiar with the Rafale.. and now are at the top hierchy..
have fallen head over heels for the FC-20.. seeing all that they saw separately in the EF and Rafale.. and not being able to afford it...they now find themselves with a jet that in their own opinion.. was all that they wanted and more.

The Rafale is a sweet plane.. but is seems to be cursed in Marketing..
And I still doubt its place for the MMRCA.. maybe an order by the UAE..

Only air to ground mission is going on there, there is no dogfight/BVR fight..

The Western countries bomb the hell out of countries whose regime challenge them, so that they can impress the world with their weapons systems.

How do the third world compete against the Western Military Industrial complex ?
