I know you are still banned but I did promise I would post the rankings on 11 March.
Well, it is 13 March now but still.

Indian government is not allowing the citizens to freely test for the COVID19 and you are telling me that Freedom report paints India as a Free country.

This fake website has outlived its economic use.

Well, the Freedom in the World 2020 rankings were determined with data from 2019. And at the end of 2019 COVID-19 was only in China, not yet in India.

Besides, the Indian government does want to test Indians for the virus, but they just do not have enough laboratories to cope with a large population. That is why they have given licenses to private companies to increase the capacity.

. .
Ironically CAA and NRC were passed by Nazi government in 2019.

That did affect the score of India.
In 2020 it is 71, in 2019 it was 75 and in 2018 it was 77.
So, India's score has dropped in the past years.
Link to the country report on India:
https://freedomhouse.org/country/india/freedom-world/2019

Also, in post #10 I posted an article from this report about India, which criticises the Indian government for the decrease in freedom.
They also criticise the situation in Indian administered Kashmir.
See this excerpt.

The first major step was the central government’s unilateral annulment of the semiautonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir, India’s only Muslim-majority state. Federal authorities replaced the state’s elected institutions with appointees and abruptly stripped residents of basic political rights. The sweeping reorganization, which opponents criticized as unconstitutional, was accompanied by a massive deployment of troops and arbitrary arrests of hundreds of Kashmiri leaders and activists. Restrictions on freedom of movement and a shutdown of mobile and internet service made ordinary activities a major challenge for residents. As a result, Indian Kashmir experienced one of the five largest single-year score declines of the past 10 years in Freedom in the World, and its freedom status dropped to Not Free.

So the changes in Indian administered Kashmir did result in a change of freedom status.

So alienating 400 million people from basic human rights warrant a slide of just 4 points?

As i said this is a fake website. Most likely will be out of business by the time world recovers from COVID19.

You got me there.

Not going to happen.

From their Wikipedia page:
In 2018, the US government gave Freedom House $35,206,355, or 88% of its annual revenue.

Besides, look at the board of Freedom House.
Chair: D. Jeffrey Hirschberg
President: Michael J. Abramowitz

Do I need to say more?
