Indian developed armour vests and patka helmet can't withstand against normal AK-47 bullets (7.62x39) and now freedom fighters are using steel core bullets....someone can imagine BSF light armoured vehicles and trucks no more safe against freedom fighters fire...no surprise rising suicide rates of Indian forces in occupied territory.

They will penetrate anything from a bullet proof jacket to an LAV.

Including this even this thing can't save soldier from regular AK bullet .

So if this article is to be believed, Indian Army’s latest body Armour is inferior to Pak Army body Armour (Model 218) which is being phased out as obsolete.
