France set for 'new world record for tourism'

This summer it was unbearably hot in both Paris and Lille, and it was a generally bad travel experience with flaky WiFi and subpar hotel services. Hope the Riviera treats us better in a couple of weeks.

. . . .
Do you mean there is also nothing else to visit in U.S? Since New york was among the top 3 previously?:undecided:
i have been in UK many times. And clearly there are many beautiful places to visit.
but most important , people are more welcoming .

aren't most of them chinese anyway?
yep
500 000 more Chinese this year
La France se dirige vers une « saison touristique record »

but not only chinese , France created a new kind of visa : a touristic visa you can get in 48hours
more indians came too

furthermore , more americans came as well since euro money is really low .

Native Brits are very friendly and treat everyone with respect - something that cannot
be said for all EU countries.

We are gentlemen.

True. Our people are very welcoming and have an open mind/view of life. its part of our culture.:) Many people i have met in other countries i visited who have been to U.K told me the same thing. Same cant be said of even France. @Gabriel92 :p:

I would say young French people on the whole are very welcoming but the older generation(40+) do not seem as welcoming whenever I have visited.
