France ranked 'worst in EU' at learning English

Guys,

Yes French language should be saved. My children are at primary school (cm1 & cm2)... And you know what ? I often heard that the level in orthographe is going down, and down each year.

At first I was thinking that no, what is said in journal de 20h is wrong, I it's not possible...

But I discovered that it was true. Their level in orthographe is so bad that I had to take on my own to teach it them.

I remember when I was at primary school, teachers focused a lot on writing, vocabulary, orthographe etc.. But nowadays that's no more the case a part in selective schools.

Cela me fait vraiment peur pour l'avenir.

I am putting my kids in private schools,it may be costly,but seeing how the levels in the public schools decreased and continue to,i am very afraid,indeed....
More and more parents are putting their kids in private schools,and better to even ruin yourself to offer your kids the best education.

The rankings do not lie...

Maintenant, le problème reste que l'école doit égaliser les chances et que d'autres parents n'ont ni la motivation,
ni les moyens et leurs enfants pâtirons plus que les tiens.
But school should help make all people equals ( in knowledge ) and since other parents may have neither the drive
nor the means to compensate for those lacks, their kids will suffer more than Vortex' own.

Tay, tu sais je ne suis pas citoyen francais, mais un simple résident d'origine pakistanaise. Ceci dit j'ai les deux payw dans mon cœur.

Le Pakistan car j'y suis né et j'ai des souvenirs d'enfance. La France car elle m'a beaucoup apportée. Je suis un melange des deux pays, des deux cultures. Et cela n'aurait pas été possible si la Frane ne m'avait pas offert l'école gratuite et laique...


et aujourd'hui je suis heureux d'y travailler et de participer a la creation de la richesse, modestement certes, mais j'y participe.

Et je suis d'accord avec toi sur l'école et son role.
