but i wont mind older blocks of Aster with HQ-9's ..

HQ-9's seems more suited for Pakistan rather than going for older Aster blocks.
If you guys want Aster then always go for the newer blocks like Block 2. I think it would go for mass production around 2021. And Pakistan might get time to save some money to make that purchase.

HQ-9 is good and can come with Soft loans ..that's its plus point ..
and we can buy it in good numbers ..
Aster new blocks are expensive .. we can only have few Systems, and place it on Important sites .. as 2-3rd layer Air Defense

You mean HQ-9 ? no , HQ-9 is copy of S-300 ..
this is Italian SAM .. if i am not wrong ..

No.SPADA is an Italian product as far as i know,altough i think it's under MBDA umbrella also.

Oh Thanks , Pakistan use SPADA , and we have acquire its without much issues i guess, maybe getting Aster wont be that easy ..

I think that SPADA is a natural in tandem with the Aster-medium range SAM supporting long range SAM.
