^^ I think it would be far more than productive, how to kill the economic terrorist government of PPP, PML-N, MQM and all these scum beaurocrats, administrators, auditors, lawyers , CORRUPT FRAUDSTERS etc, who are piece by piece destroying Pakistan.

Drones will fall, when the govt decides to do and we have get the technology to detect stealth drones.

The most reasonable comment here.

To those who are fancying a drone knock out:

1- You cannot target the ground force station situated in mainland USA.
2- You cannot use F-16s to shoot down drones because post-incident reaction would render your F-16s operationally bricked.
3- SAM option is generally good but then expect a fighter escort to the drones next time to soften up SAM bases of PAF before real drone assault begins.

OTOH, if Pakistan concentrates on eliminating Jihad, there are multiple advantages:

- political recognition worldwide.
- international cooperation from every corner.
- move towards a better more tolerant and modern Pakistani society.
- no hindrance in economic growth as security matter would be better- this will invite better foreign investments.

So which one is better? You choose.

Simple: Pakistan lacks the strategy and technology to shoot 100+ drones, it can shoot 1-2 but not 100+.

The issue is they don't leave people with a negative attitude against US... what will be the reaction to such a move where we shoot down a multi-million dollar machine is a point we must ponder? I am for swapping ties with the US in favor of China but even that should be done through diplomacy not with war in any way....

Pakistan needs to tread lightly. We need to be more assertive but not make any rash decisions along the way here.

dude don't mind, but there are many anomaliesin your judgement.
1) the drones are operated from US,so you cannot fire ballitic missiles at them.Plus,when you will attack and kill "US citizens", you will face wrath from uncle sam.
2) There is no EW in current pakistani arsenal that can jam the satellite data-link of reapers.It is not as easy as you think...the american " critical technologies" are way advanced than what we ( india,pakistan) field here.You can jam the signals for a few minutes.. but totally blocking them is not possible
3) the spada 2000 is an old system and there are advanced counter measures available now..so there is every possibility that your sam would be jammed.
4) the above point also holds true for f-16 fired BVRAAMS..and remember,the latest version of the predator can carry AAMs too
