nobody cares about the environment. I mean using a known RWS, engine, tracks, cameras that's not specially designed for an UGS. To make it cheaper.

Indonesian UGS on the other hand looks like it has a specially built turret. Is that right @Indos ?

Nope, the gun is a modification from ready available machine gun, more likely from Pindad machine gun.

This is the testing, the company get fund from Defense Ministry and with this kind of cooperation I believe they will also cooperate with PT Pindad, our state owned land specialist and heavy industry company. I guess the mass production will likely be done in PT Pindad where PT Ansa Solusitama will focus on the electronic part as it is their specialty.

As far as I know, our national RCWS program is handled by another privately owned company, PT Respati, in cooperation with Defense Ministry (They will get the fund). In this one we see larger gun and RCWS unit compared to what is used in our USG program.

It is tested in Pindad Anoa

I'm not a fan of big windows on an armored vehicle, and protection against 5,56 NATO rounds as specified on their website is not very impressive. I'm guessing this is a very lightly armored vehicle. How much does it weigh?

I dont know the weigh of Turangga

I think this kind of vehicle is still needed as we are still lack of military vehicle to improve mobility of our soldiers.

This is civilian car is still used within our Armed Force for rapid movement strike

We still need to produce more Anoa Pindad

Anoa Pindad front big window can be protected by additional protection as you can look here

We also modify Armed Force mobility units for better protection

Pindad tactical vehicles also have good protection

But some how they still make big window cars for mobility, this car has place to put machine gun in the roof top, it is also much cheaper and already use hard steels in the body ( this why it will be heavier than civilian cars

No no I agree. Lightly armored, high mobility vehicles are fine. If they are fast, can climb steep gradients, air-transportable, amphibious, etc. It's all good. It's just hard to find such specs on this particular vehicle. Also mine protection is very important at least in my part of the world. I don't know what Indonesia's threat assessments are.

I know ISIS was a big problem in philippines. I know you've had similiar problems.

In the 90ies we had Otokar Akrep, Cobra and BTR 80 as far as wheeled armored vehicles went.

Today we have heavier MRAP type vehicles in addition to other things but MRAPs tend to tip over more easily than other vehicles due to high center of gravity. They can't be amphibious because they are heavy. In general they are less mobile.

Otokar Cobra 2 seems to me like a good compromise. It is wider than it is high. Therefore less tipover chance. 12 ton weight class, not too light, not too heavy. It's a nice one.

Although Akrep 2 with electrical drive is showing much promise.

I oppose using electric vehicle for Armed Force, while other equipment can still logically be effective and cost efficient in using electric engine like small drone, MALE UCAV, cruise missile, etc

That is nice utility vehicle, I see Turkish MRAP has shown good effect on war in Libya against Haftar rebellion forces

They all look good and ready for modern theaters. Indonesia should actully consider becoming a supplier of AV's and I think Indonesia could create for itself a major market there. Pindad Anoa and Turangga look like beasts that are capable and meet the standards for modern warfare military hardware in fact all of Indonesia's AV's meet the demands. Indonesia should start to promote it's local AV's and start to export
