Punjab Rangers have carried out over 200 raids as part of the ongoing countrywide Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, at least four terrorists have been killed and more than 600 suspects, including Afghan nationals, have been arrested in search operations conducted in various areas of Punjab, including Karor, Layyah and Rawalpindi.

Those arrested include facilitators of Jamaatul Ahrar (JuA), which has claimed responsibility for the recent string of terrorist attacks across the country, ISPR said. It added that weapons and extremist material have also been recovered during the raids on houses, seminaries and shops suspected of being used by terrorists as hideouts.

On February 22, Pakistan Army launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country in response to the continuing terror wave. Operation aims at indiscriminately eliminating residual/latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring security of the borders, ISPR said.

. . . .
forget the Vphones there is a direct sat internet in there that is an uncontrollable network. These terrorists are well educated in avoiding online surveillance.

Nani yar that bgan terminal is out of commission. Bgan was outmoded by Inmarsat back in 2008.

I think they daisychain the vphones to create a mesh network which would be "untraceable ".

Vphone network will use local internet service provider which can detect the communication. And using an encrypted network on a local internet service provider can be sniffed.
Where as Using satellite internet is not even detectable

Using this with Tor means that only India can intercept communication. There is a way to catch this communication but it should not be disclosed on open forum.

Brother that picture you have shown is of a TV receiver and not a sat terminal. No sat terminal has a LNB ( low noise block ) these are fitted to tv dishes.

Now a real sat terminal would use a throne and thrane bgan terminal array (you can google it) AGMR1 and 2 have already been decrypted in 2012.

You can gain anonymity using a conventional network by playing around with the invite and 200 OK headers.
This can be achieved by configuring a Cisco 877 type router running on a mpls or OPn / Fftp or even adsl network to treat headers with inv and 200ok and send out masking when sending the 180 early media thus bypassing any attempt to peek when dropping calls at the EX or even LN level.

If you use the old method of listening to the DW/Drop wire at the Dacs this too would not work on a vphones because it is using 802.11n wireless yes you can tap into 802.11n using an am radio but if the caller is daisy chaining and using a unique dial code to connect to a private sip piggybacking on a private assured Cisco router then you would be hard pressed to tap that call. Unless you ran a wireshark type trace on the Lan side and wan side of the SBC handling that call and recorded the .pcap files. Then maybe, trust me that terminal is for TV it has a lnb so it's not a comms terminal :)

Ohhh holyshit......one RAW supplied 'TATA Sky' weapon system!!! Pakistanis caught us red handed.....and now one more dossier for UN & P5. What we gonna do now:(:(....
If you have nothing progressive to say in the thread whats the need for that vomit you typed.:coffee:

The Image was there to give you an example. I will agree with you to what you have said but there are other ways to detect better than wire shark which are more effective, lets leave that discussion the big issue is that you and I both know is that this type of encrypted system is hard to configure by someone reading an online Manuel or by watching a youtube video. the point is these rats are well trained in these systems of communication. Though not that advance system but still quite a deceptive network.

India can because TATA is an indian company so its not a thing to keep secret

one more thing to add with a simple linux software the TV sat receiver can be hacked to get sat internet.

The point that Bharwana wants to make here guys is that these guys have the ways and means. The sky satellite to reciever in the photo is inconsequential to the debate here.

Not with an lnb lnb is 0.01db unless you modified the power on the receiver. Because it only has rx not tx capability.

Interesting development because the Punjab government, Rana Sanaullah, Shabaz Sharif always denied of any terrorist safe heavens in Punjab. But this operation is showing the opposite.
