Four Indians among 15 dead as Taliban bombers attack Kabul

@Jana, Fire Fighter - those Indian officers were in Kabul with the permission of the Afghan government. No one can justify their killings.
@Jana - Pretty weak defence of your logic of hitting others across borders. Suicide bombing and terrorism - a cowardly way of eliminating your enemies too.

Fire Fighter - off topic rant from you. btw the Afghan woman is in India fighting her case. She is living in working in Delhi and very happy that the Indian government is assisting her in her fight for justice. Btw it's not Indian government policy for Indian officers to marry Afghan women and leave them. It's a personal issue- let us leave it there.

Appalled by the state of the thread.

People who post in favour of the blast will go to hell. They may take pleasure but the truth is there nation is burning and will rot till the time they change their mentality.

A woman here is shouting at the top of her voice and justifying the killings, I wonder where the mother , sister or wife in her is. Damn me these thread is full of scums.

Anybody and everybody who supports killing is the scum of this earth and god willing will rot in hell.

Meri baddua lagey tumhe ... jo acche insaanon ki chitaon pe paani fenkte ho , unki kabron pe kodey barsaate ho.. maut bhi bahut tadap ke naseeb ho tumhe

Nobody is justifying the blast neither attacks.

We all are free to discuss the circumstances here.

And BTW why you Indians failed to show same sympathy towards innocent Afghans who are killed daily in such attacks and barbaric US/NATO attacks.

@S2 with having your age in mind i expect you to refrain from personal attacks.

You are blind to daily daily killings of Innocent Afghans at the hands of American invaders.

If you are convinced that all were RAW, then be prepared for return gift.
Sadly it is not the case..
However the case is, This Taliban attack is pro from Pakistan group and is doing this to reduce Indan influence in Afgaistan, they do not want Indian efforts in reconstructoin to succeed and do not want India friendly Afganistan

@Jana, Fire Fighter - those Indian officers were in Kabul with the permission of the Afghan government. No one can justify their killings.

And we are pretty much sure of Karzai Govt's collaboration with Indian agencies. Hence it doesnt matter if Indian agents are there with permission or without permission as long as they are fomenting terror in Pakistan.

@Jana - Pretty weak defence of your logic of hitting others across borders. Suicide bombing and terrorism - a cowardly way of eliminating your enemies too.

If its weak then why you Indians are supporting US Invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq??

And BTW our enemies from India who are training terrorists in Afghanistan against Pakistan do provide an excuse.

You do not want our infulence in Afghanistan and we dont want yours so whats the big deal ???????

@ S 2 - Thanks for the useful insight mate.

@Jana - I have got only one simple sentence for you : You Have Been IGNORED

@Jana.. we did support the invasion of Afghanistan - but so did your country Pakistan and pretty much every other country in this world. Iraq is off topic.

If you are sure of Karzai government's involvement with Indian agencies.. why is it your business to stop this involvement ? Let Afghans take their own decisions. You speak for freedom of speech and expression for Kashmiris yet dictate your terms to Afghans. We can say the same about attacking your terror camps in *** etc.

Any evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan ? It's your own home grown Islamic terrorists coming from areas within your boundaries that you don't control. We can blame Pak for Maoist violence by your far fetched logic. Btw - why is Pakistan Occupied Kashmir a bad word ?! It's a name we Indians use often.. dunno why it is banned ?

@Righteous Fire - thanks for derailing the thread with a picture of Mr Bal Thackerey.. geez his fan following is greater in Pakistan than in India :)

kind of like Lt Gen (retd.) Hamid Gul and Zaid Hamid in india.....if I didn't know better, I'd say these men have more posters in hindustan than in Pakistan

Unfortunately we Indians will get nothing more than sympathy for what has happened. We have left our entire Afghanistan policy in the hands of the Americans who seem to be in a hurry to cut a deal with Taliban and Pakistan and exit the region.

what else would u propose?

I feel India should align with Russia and Iran to keep the Taliban out after the US leaves. We need to resurrect the old Northern Alliance which we supported before 9/11. Hopefully the US will join us in this endeavor.

Afghanistan-lesson-101:

Don't alienate the Pakhtuns. In all actuality, NA is not "worse" than taleban as far as human rights abuse concerns are .... concerned. Read the stories subsequent to the 2001 invasion. NA also does little to hide its disdain for my country. They do want to harm Pakistan if they had the capability; you expect us to allow them to get this capability?

and it appears that NA has zero credibility amongst the average Afghan. It's strange to have UN and other NGOs operate in Afghanistan when war lords and drug kingpins are reversing much of their work.

it's pretty obvious what the outcome will be within the next 2-3 years. :azn:

All countries need to get moderate Pashtuns on the side of a secularism, moderate and democratic Afghanistan. India needs to show more spine and leadership in the battle over Afghanistan.

If you think you can apply your indian standards on Afghanistan, then it is bound for failure even before it begins. Live and let live. Pashtuns have had both secular and radical thinkers and intellectuals. What they deserve is representation.

NATO/ISAF have royally screwed up by alienating the Pakhtuns --from administrative positions to Army and so forth.

But let's see what happens. If they can control what happens, stop the criminal activity and hold the corrupt accountable --it would be a good start.

Pakistan is itching for a stable Afghanistan. Now that our ports are ready, we are ready to get access to Central Asia. Economically, we will benefit a lot.

Why cant pakistan govt show the "damn good evidence" they have????.The answer is "it holds no water".By that logic India which has evidence agaist anti india elements in pakistan(good enough to be shown to the world),is well within its moral limits to go ahead and bomb them to death!(even if it involves death of inocent civilians). Is that ok with u?????
If it is,Then u have no right to voice concerns against Americans who started the war in afganistan, to protect their home land, or Isrel which carries out strikes abroad to get rid of dangerous elements.

RIP all inocents without RAW agents which there for destable pakistan.

The difference is that India wins Afghan friendship by helping the Afghans. Pakistanis try to gain "strategic depth" by sponsoring terrorist proxies.

Is it any surprise Pakistanis are hated in Afghanistan?

"@S2 with having your age in mind i expect you to refrain from personal attacks..."

Jana,

I know nothing of your personal life so any attack is drawn from my experiences here on this board with you. The airstrike thread is a perfect example of how you'll use a thread for a narrow agenda. No condolences offered whatsoever while using it as a platform to spew invective against America. Tasteless and self-serving. What I stated about your behavior there is the bald truth and stands unaltered as of now.

Offering condolences now would be too late and disingenuous.

The world waits for proof of Indian involvement from Pakistan. At this board I've dealt with the dissembling lies of others here contending tens of Indian consulates scattered about Afghanistan and thousands of their troops. All proved false and easily so but that doesn't stop the twisted minds of many here who can't see how they've been manipulated by their own government on this issue.

My rationales against Indian intrigue against Pakistan from Afghan soil are well-stated and undefeated thus far. They've no cause to do so and far too much to lose as, unlike Pakistan, Indian diplomats understand how to cultivate solid relationships with other nations.

This has left Pakistan largely isolated by the global community that's just across the border. Your government's credibility is nil. In Afghanistan we've all long been victims of assaults from your lands-many by your own citizens like Hafez Gul Bahadur and Maulvi Nazir as well as the ousted afghan taliban government.

Nobody really cares about claims of sovereign rights when you harbor an ousted afghan taliban government on your soil. Nobody of the many countries, armies, NGOs, or world media haven't seen a HINT of Indian intrigue yet threads such as this continue to flourish here.

Thanks.:usflag:

@Abu Zolfiqar - i think everyone wants to see a stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
If we apply your standard of live and let live.. Taliban erred when they supported al-Qaeda and pan-Islamic radical groups like LeT etc. who were involved in terrorist activities. No wonder Afghanistan was invaded after 9/11 and no one (except Pak maybe) shed tears for the Taliban.
For this not to happen again Afghanistan has to have a secular, democratic government not interested in any pan-Islamic agenda (like the Taliban and al-Qaeda). Will Pakistan allow this knowing that the people of Afghanistan are not favourably disposed towards it ? Unfortunately the opposition to Taliban is fragmented due to the diverse nature of Afghanistan.
One thing that the Taliban did effectively was kill all opposition to it's rule and stilfe any economic and social progress. Also they made people used to being ruled by force. Same thing happened in Iraq. It will take years to build these nations again.

Two steps should be taken -
1. Permanent military presence by US, NATO till ANA can conduct independent operations.
2. Proposal to divide Afghanistan along ethnic lines. It is getting unmanageable at present.
