Non-veg food for 4 days won't kill the vegetarians either, will you promote that?

In a year meat ban just is for 5 days including Gandhi jeyanthi rest of 360 days they can eat it? , whats a problem. Is it that difficult?.

Mrs Doc is not a shining beacon of vegetarian cooking. But neither is any Parsi woman.

Which is understandable, when you consider that a Parsi's definition of vegetarian is to put potatoes into chunks of meat and gravy and then garnish with a little kothmir patta or curry patta on top. And eat with kachoobar, which is chillies, onions, tomatoes, raw mango, kothmir, gur, and sarka (vinegar), with either lemon or curd per taste.

A national cyclist in my school days, and univ swimmer and water polo player in college.

Cow slaughtering is banned for decades, why are you after the bulls now...they do not have much economic value other than producing meat, people will sell them anyway or let them die on roads if BJP impose the ban strictly...unecessarily BJP will lose some votes, and BJP doesn't have that kind of margin in terms of percentage to afford such luxury for nothing.

BJP should lose in the next elections for India to prosper. The one year of massive corruption and Hindutva has damaged India's fair reputation worldwide. Modi's popularity has plummeted to the ground and he is practically running a Minority govt. Parties with a communal bend of mind should have no place in here.

Does below explain?

Four days is not the issue, the issue is that one group cannot be allowed to force their own pet religious diktats on everyone else. In north kerala it was Muslims who forced schools to stop serving lunches to schoolchildren during the Ramadan fast. So non muslim children were made to fast , this is ridiculous. We cannot have every religious community whenever and wherever they are dictating how other people in their neighbor hood should live.

This is not about four days ban on slaughtering animals,( you can eat meat just not kill.) it is about the principle of people forcing their religious views on to bystanders. Enough is enough.
