Found chipmunk babies

The rabbits in my backyard also like eating this little flower plant so I tried feeding that as well but it was too frightened. I moved it out of the backyard temporarily and once I was done mowing the I put it back in the backyard.

yea when they are scared they forget to eat....shock or something

I once found a baby squirrel inside the trunk of a tree in my school playground.. it was pink in color and painted in blood..seemed the blood from his brothers who were dead.., seemed some crow tried to drag it out.. two other were dead. I got it, washed it with dettol and kept it in a shoe box stuffed with cotton from a pillow... fed it baby food milk and lot of water with a cotton ball drop by drop.. after two or three when it grew furs I gave it muri and biscuit.. but you have keep the box clean, it poos lot after it starts eating... after growing fully, it stayed in my pocket or inside my shirt most of the time even when i was in school.. but soon it was very big and dissapeared in the playground.. went to his friends I guess.. but if you can raise it, they are very addictive, I mean you will love their company.

you punjabi people eat muri .......i thought its a bengali kind of food

well you can feed them rice porridge if you dont have milk...or some cereal muesli or something

I stay in kolkata, born and brought up here... stil ou answer your question, I dont eat muri.. but thought it was gud for the squirrel.

yeah , as a kid I though it would be safe for him.. it looked like wounded due to the blood on his body.

the best part was there was no wound, just the blood from his dead siblings, it didnt pain i guess

Update:

I went to People For Animals- Bangalore (PFA) : Wildlife Wings : Rescues & Treatments : Pet Cemetery
and gave them the three babies. They are already taking care of other animals including abandoned chipmunks. They said the ones we found were in good health and will survive!
