Personally I like the idea and will discuss it with other mods and admins.

Neo - before you start that, what is required is a SL section thus completing the sub-continental countries representation.

Fully agreed . But was just wondering whether we needed to have regional dev3elopment fora,lumping quite a few countries in one region might save band width and prevent clutter.On a side note i still miss the think tank group.

Actually we don't want to create too many sections, it looks messy and confusing. India, China and BD have their own dedicated forum due strong representation here. We have the "World Affairs Section" for the rest of the region/world.

Iran and Turkey otoh are both becoming more important for us, we'd like to attract more members from these countries so its worth giving a shot.

On a side note i still miss the think tank group.

We're still working on the concept Sir. New TT will be more than a decorative group, it will have a clear task and less members than before.

MP group will be expended soon.

quite agree but with pakistan's involvement with SL military there is a plathora of info which can be posted and discussed - our indian friends would be quite interested!

with turkey.. we are having interactions in
navy frigates/subs..
f16 mlus,
perhaps attock helis.
even tank joint ventures.. they are also starting a tank project.. etc

with iran,
they are also making an multirole f-5 /pseudo f18 comparable jet, so who knows , we might get iranians point of views regarding jf17.
.
on the same token, u can make a small forum for usa [only airforce field first], some u.s professionals might endup here and tell some good points regarding the shortcomings of jf17.

search bar in forumn
plz add some sort of search bar.... there are so many pages in the forumn and without a search bar... it takes hours to find the thing u were looking for.

the mind boggling crude way ive found to search on this forum is.. suppose i want to know about 'matra'.. i will google matra , defence.pk... and it would only give me a crude search result

guys! u need a defence.pk specific search engine as day by day mashallah the info here is increasing.

plz add some sort of search bar.... there are so many pages in the forumn and without a search bar... it takes hours to find the thing u were looking for.

.I guess a search bar is already there. Try looking below the first row of buttons. The google Custom Search bar is there.

Fully agree Neo. But nevertheless we should have a limit. It is sad that often there are more Indians active than Pakistanis on pdf.

Seriously though.. I suggest Introducing a warning system for topics going awry.
alerts the mods, who inspect it. Then decide otherwise. Till that time, that little alert should show up next to the topic.
