'Fort Hood shooter had links with Pakistan'

Well hope so you keep wondering for why he was thanked, as for understanding different things from different perspectives people require different level of intellectuality as its not in the power of every brain to understand simple things. Sometimes people even after having common sense can't see and understand things as its not in their brain power to understand.

Exactly. I am glad you emphasised brain power. Some things which are simple to a few are really complex to the majority. And some statements which are logical to a minority baffles the majority. But then again the emphasis is on brain power as you indicated

The people of USA are best in the world when it comes to process and security procedure. There is no chance.

Ohhh Really :eek: Then what is this:

"The 2007 United States Air Force nuclear weapons incident occurred at Minot Air Force Base and Barksdale Air Force Base on August 29–30, 2007. Six AGM-129 ACM cruise missiles, loaded with a W80-1 variable yield nuclear warhead, were alleged to have been mistakenly loaded on a United States Air Force (USAF) B-52H heavy bomber at Minot and transported to Barksdale. The nuclear warheads in the missiles were supposed to have been removed before taking the missiles from their storage bunker. The missiles with the nuclear warheads were not reported missing and remained mounted to the aircraft at both Minot and Barksdale for a period of 36 hours. During this period, the warheads were not protected by the various mandatory security precautions required for nuclear weapons.

The incident was reported to the top levels of the United States (U.S.) military and referred to by observers as a Bent Spear incident, which indicates a nuclear weapon incident that is of significant concern, but does not involve the immediate threat of nuclear war. The USAF, however, has yet to officially classify the incident.

In response to the incident, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and USAF conducted an investigation, the results of which were released on October 19, 2007. The investigation concluded that nuclear weapons handling standards and procedures had not been followed by numerous USAF personnel involved in the incident. As a result, four USAF commanders were relieved of their commands, numerous other USAF personnel were disciplined and/or decertified to perform certain types of sensitive duties, and further cruise missile transport missions from and nuclear weapons operations at Minot Air Force Base were suspended. In addition, the USAF issued new nuclear weapons handling instructions and procedures."

I am quoting this because you can have a second read.

I am quoting this because you can have a second read.

I don't need a second read, thanks for your suggestion by the way. Its you guys who need to read again and again to understand what the point is being discussed.

If someone can't see a simple sarcastic remark being thanked, then nothing can be done for those people.

When we get a bomb blast at the gate of some airbase or a factory and whining & cries about the safety of our nuclear assets start being heard, then in return a simple sarcasm being pointed towards the side who point fingers at us is not a bad thing for anybody's health.

Hope the ones who are wondering and thinking why the childish & immature remark was thanked and the ones who can't understand simple things instead ask others to reread their posts can now understand the point being discussed.

It was a humorous sarcastic remark which was thanked.

On a more serious note ..why is there usually a finger pointed at Pakistan when there is a terrorist or terrorist related conspiracy in the world ? At one stage I also believed it was drama on the part of the GoI to continuously point a finger at Pakistan whenever there was a terrorist attack on Indian soil. Living out of India I am in a position to obtain news which is not sprinkled with Indian media propaganda but the overall analysis even by the foreign media is that Pakistan involvement runs deep. I am not referring to American media by the way but to SAPA (Southern African Press Assoc).

Now the allegation is that a Muslim US army major (Of Jordanian extract?) who allegedly turned tails and became anti US invasion of Iraq and kills his comrades in a shoot out was in contact with certain people in Pakistan and was sending money to Pakistan. Purely an allegation at this stage but one which did not emanate from India.

Recently when there was a debacle in Iran, the finger was pointed at Pakistan as being the transit route for the terrorists. I accept that the Iranian government did not allege that the GoP was responsible.

Somebody earlier in this forum stated that these allegations arise because "Pakistan has nuclear weapons". I trust that he or she was joking. Is the average Pakistani not concerned that their land is being used by a host of people for their conflict whatever it is with other nations or is it just accepted by the average Pakistani that in keeping with the "Muslim Brotherhood" notion, all Muslims who have a problem of whatever sort with an infidel nation may use our Islamic Republic to create mayhem elsewhere? If that is indeed the situation then wouldn't the use of Pakistan by the enemies of Iran contradict that notion ?

My questions are not meant to flame or agitate but are being asked purely as a matter of curiousity

so there are rouge elements in us army...hmm now we are concerned about safety of US nuclear assets

Exactly. And how can we forget the event when US Air Farce Crew members fell asleep while holding missile launch devices back in 2008. And in an another event, a B-52 bomber was mistakenly armed with six nuclear warheads and flown for more than three hours across several states, back in 2007. This is the height of flippancy :pop:

I love this thread one of the top best retarded article ever read!.....Lol.

This is no laughing matter, Pakistan is in grave danger. With puppet regime in change and sell out generals who bomb their own people, I am surprised that Pakistan is still intact.

US is starting media campaign against Pakistan, just like when it invaded Iraq. Muslim country with nuclear power is a big threat to Zionist dreams. They are already equipping India & are funding terrorist, ie TTP on the other side of the border to carry out attacks, hell they even airlift them.

3:54 And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.

Inshallah, Zionist dreams would be crushed.

Off topic, but we don't need zionists for desturction of Pakistan. The Pakistani Taliban (who you call our own people) are doing enough damage as it is.

Terrorist group, ie TTP is a foreign funded organization, The real Taliban, the one is Afghanistan have said that they are not related to TTP. Ever wonder why TTP never targets NATO or Indian forces?

Also there was a report that TTP terrorist were airlifted at the border of Pakistan to Afghanistan after terrorist attacks, you telling me that Afghan Mujahadeen now own Black Hawk helicopters?

The United States nuclear program has, since its inception, suffered from a number of accidents of varying forms, ranging from single-casualty research experiments (such as that of Louis Slotin during the Manhattan Project), to the nuclear fallout dispersion of the "Castle Bravo" shot in 1954, to the accidental dropping of nuclear weapons from aircraft ("broken arrows"). How close any of these accidents came to being "major" nuclear disasters is a matter of technical and scholarly debate and interpretation.

Weapons accidentally dropped by the United States include incidents near Atlantic City, New Jersey (1957), Savannah, Georgia (1958) (see Tybee Bomb), Goldsboro, North Carolina (1961), off the coast of Okinawa (1965), in the sea near Palomares, Spain (1966, see 1966 Palomares B-52 crash), and near Thule Air Base, Greenland (1968) (see 1968 Thule Air Base B-52 crash). In some of these cases (such as Palomares), the explosive system of the fission weapon discharged, but did not trigger a nuclear chain reaction (safety features prevent this from easily happening), but did disperse hazardous nuclear materials across wide areas, necessitating expensive cleanup endeavors. Eleven American nuclear warheads are thought to be lost and unrecovered, primarily in submarine accidents.

The nuclear testing program resulted in a number of cases of fallout dispersion onto populated areas. The most significant of these was the Castle Bravo test, which spread radioactive ash over an area of over one hundred miles, including a number of populated islands. The populations of the islands were evacuated but not before suffering radiation burns. They would later suffer long-term effects, such as birth defects and increased cancer risk. There were also instances during the nuclear testing program in which soldiers were exposed to overly high levels of radiation, which grew into a major scandal in the 1970s and 1980s, as many soldiers later suffered from what were claimed to be diseases caused by their exposures.

Many of the former nuclear facilities (see next section) produced significant environmental damages during their years of activity, and since the 1990s have been Superfund sites of cleanup and environmental remediation. The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act of 1990 allows for U.S. citizens exposed to radiation or other health risks through the U.S. nuclear program to file for compensation and damages.

maybe if you could rub your two brain cells together, you can come up with an answer.

I would give you three words hint: Drones, Musharraf, Tribal area.

yes the TTP is foreign funded they are funded from saudi arabia and the gulf states.
As far as the Pakistan connection goes i heard something on fox news about it but because it was fox news really did not pay any attention towards it. :chilli::chilli:
