Barcelona??????? There were 2 races happening in the week end.... 1 between merc and the other between 20 cars...... would you believe, both the mercs lapped almost all the car in the circuit.....

Would be awesome to see Hulk in a top drive (is a Ferrari really such a seat that's debatable right now ) and then maybe Jules Bianci takes over Hulk's seat in Force India, Rosberg moves to Mclaren and Button retires or moves to Williams to replace Mass?

To be honest I am conflicted about the LH vs FA lineup in Merc yes it would be VERY exciting but as a LH fan I want him to take home as many WDCs as possible, I don't want it to be a Senna vs Prost situation where they are just taking wins and WDCs off each other. Vettel had a Webber and achieved 4 WDCs in a row, I'd like Hamilton to have a lower tier driver that was well and truly his Number 2.

Yeah they lapped up to 7th place man Raikonen IIRC.

LH and FA didn't have a cordial relationship last time when they shared paddock......It will be interesting to see them racing with similar cars.....

Bianci, i am not sure it is difficult to judge him because of the car he drives, May be yes..... But do you know the duration of contract with hulk and Force india???? he has a habit of changing teams every year.....

I have seen the race, but the channel shifted to EPL the moment lewis parked his car.... wanted to see the radio messages between him and nico....

But you cannot take the credit away from SV with 3 stops this guy passed 10 cars in this grand prix....

Didn't get to watch most of it, had my entrance exam on Sunday. Just as I switched to the channel after I got home, only 7 laps were remaining and Alonso was hounding Kimi for P6. ;p

From what I read, another boring race. Only entertainment, if any, was provided by Nico ;p

Another impressive victory Lewis! Nico's face was worth watching when Lewis told him he was struggling all race (and yet he beat him. Mind games?)

Also, I think FA and LH being in the same team won't produce the same disastrous result as the last time. Alonso simply expected the team to accord him the number one status by the virtue of his two WC titles. But now, Lewis is equally rated and established and so, I do not see any ego clashes.

@Abingdonboy: Alonso's pic is better than Lewis' with that pose. :D

@nair: Credit to SV for what? He's being consistently outperformed both in the races and Q's by his 'junior' team mate.

Ok his race was compromised in the qualifying session with the problem with his car. Couldve done better but Ricciardo is giving him an extremely tough time!

Definitely! Also, I don't know if you watched qualy, but after Lewis beat Nico to pole and they were out of their cars, Nico went off and was just staring into space looking pretty serious. On a track he has beaten Lewis at last year in Qualy and where it seemed he was looking favourite for Pole Lewis did what he does best and delivered in Q3- AGAIN. Nico must be thinking what does he have to do to beat this guy? Even when Lewis is not 100% comfortable with the car (as he was in FP3, Q1, Q2 and the Race) Lewis has been able to beat Nico.

Nico knows "all" he has to do is beat Lewis to become 2014 WDC but that is looking ever more unlikely as time goes on.

Very true. The last devastating blow to Nico would be to get outperformed by Lewis on the streets of Monaco. :P

Fingers crossed! 5 wins in a row and 4 out of 5 poles the odds of beating Lewis would really start looking bleak to Nico surely. As a Hamilton fan though, I am not going to get carried away, most of us remember 2012 all too well and those memories are too painful to repeat!

Q3 is going to decide the winner of the Race I think and whilst Lewis didn't get pole last year that was a lot to do with not being comfortable with the W04 especially on the brakes. IIRC last year Lewis was pretty decent in 2 of the sectors and then only about 1-2 tenths off Nico's pole lap and that in a car he was struggling in. This year Lewis is far more comfortable in the W05 and he is on a decent run, should be an epic battle in Q3 especially with these 2014 cars that want love to go "side ways".
