Don't agree with the house arrest, a very stupid decision, but yes, about time the state was divided into 3 parts. Buddhist dominated Ladakh and Hindu dominated Jammu very different from the kashmir valley. Time for development to come to these regions and people from other parts of India freely settling down there. Lot of industries avoid the whole state of J&K thinking that insurgency is spread all over, while the fact is that is only spread in a few districts Srinagar, Pulwama, Baramulla, Anantang and a few more. Kashmiris can do their rioting and stone pelting forever, shouldn't stop the rest of the areas from getting their share of development. In any case Pak occupied kashmir's demographics have already been greatly altered with millions of punjabis settling there, no reason for us to keep our side of the bargain.
Yea, and Pakistan's economy is doing great . We are at least growing at 6%, Pakistan's growth rate, taking into account the rupee depreciation is actually negative. Couldn't have chosen a better time, you people simply have no money to engage into a conflict. You are in such a dire state that you literally had to kiss IMFs feet to get that 6 billion. That entire money could be exhausted in less than 2 weeks in case of even a limited conflict. Also if you actually end up having to pay $5.8 billion to that copper company(Tethan copper) against whom you lost in the World bank court, then its game over as it is. You already have to pay $1 billion to that Turkish firm - Karkey something.
This is the worst possible time for India to do anything like this ---- India economy is in bad shape ---- there will be more attrition of money if war breaks out.
