there are definitely some food types that need proper knife to cut it to a size appropriate to be eaten and even a humble knife used for spreading butter or jam on toast wont do but the following with edges like a a saw to cut without trouble

sir I disagree
we are used to the thick hard crust pizzas but there are many that are very distant and resemble like a curry on a roti.

there are some pizza types specially with thin base and almost liquid toppings that will literally slip through your fingers and on your short if you are not careful so cutting and "impaling" them in a fork is the only way you can eat them without making yourself look miserable.
 
I DEPLOY wire cutters, Drilling equipment and Powerful vacuum Pumps to aid me in eating What My Mom very Humbly Calls "Dinner":cry::hitwall:
 
Bhai log i eat with hands even in formal resturants give a d*** wether how somebody thinks of it....simple mantra in life apna haath jagganath, dal rotee khao prabhu ke gun gaao:angel:
