That's an exaggeration.
But never mind I understand where you're coming from.
Till 70-80's I think your country did score high on GDP.
No denying that.
But you could not sustain it. Interestingly as the figures started to go down, extremism started to rise in your country.
There's still a lot to be done on that front.
Because of flooded with wars from 1971 to 2001 constantly. Even USA is in debt of trillion dollars after the invasion in Afghanistan. War happens, and it changes to worse.
The point is that Pakistan knew how to conduct the successful economy, and led the example to Turkey and South Korea.
During the middle, bad policy led the economy to the disaster which threw the hard work into the drain, similarity, Modi is undoing all the hard works of 90s that was built on the sound principal.
Pakistan did it before and Pakistan can do it again.
CPEC is debatable.
I have read posts by many prominent members from Pakistan attesting to it.
When is NS's term getting over?
Who do you think will be your next PM?
I'm assuming it's not NS after his infamous panama leaks.
Albeit,I think as a Pakistani PM he had been friendly to us (India).
CPEC is not debatable. CPEC is here to stay, and it is future soon-to-be International hub of port whether you acknowledge it or not.
And CPEC has nothing to do with the government. As long as Pakistan army is running behind the scene, elected government is bound to serve pro-CPEC no matter what.
If not Nawaz, then it will be Pakistan army as interval. I am certain PMLN will continue to win the next election since Pakistan army is not in the mood for the anarchist political party that happens to be pro-TTP. Big mistake.
The cooperation from General Raheel showed why PMLN is likely to be persisted for a while or the military takeover. Either way, they will have no bearing on CPEC since CPEC is reality now and here to stay along with the major economical port that is now MQM-Free. Good news are around the corner.
Whereas for Chabar port, far from the reality. As for now, it is just fantastical concept at best. As usual, India trails behind like in 60s.
