wrong again. List of countries by literacy rate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are 190 countries ranked. China is #82. What another lie.

List of countries by life expectancy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Another lie. China is #80.

On the other hand, 80% of countries are superior to India.

wrong again- those stats are considered highly suspect, given china known affinity for fudging stats. Further compounded by the fact that media is owned and run as a propaganda machine by the Chinese- therefore Chinese propaganda machine goes unchecked.

You must be joking, in fact, Indians prefer to play hide and seek in US inorder to escape from starvation and poverty from their h..hole.
Unauthorized Indians in US increased by 64 percent in last 10 years | Canada Updates
Please no more bullsh!t, ask anyone except Indians whats their impression of India are well known, comparing life of Cubans with Indians should be consider as an insult to Cubans, they are proud people.

Since we have been talking about literacy rates, how is it in Thailand, do they teach you how to read English properly?

Here is a portion from the very same source you quoted, ask someone who understands English to explain it to you:

India currently ranks as the sixth country in terms of number of undocumented immigrants in the US. Presently, there are 200,000 unauthorized Indians living in the US while the overall percentage of illegal immigrants from India in the US is just 2 percent.

These are just "undocumented immigrants", i.e, people who probably abused their visas and that too from a country of over a billion. Anyway...just how do you think they got there without flying?...walking perhaps?

Anyway the total number of Indian illegals in the US are less than the number of Cubans who desperately try to get into the US in just a year. Why do the "proud Cubans" risk life and limb to do that? Ask them...probably you can learn some tricks too and get to America. Please try to learn to read proper English if you do manage to do so.

:rofl:China has been busted lying about stats so often that the world takes any stats from china and assumes 50% of it being faked . there is no independent verification and the media is an arm of the govt that is not allowed to do any verification.

My statement was, and I quote :
"By your standards, China is really backward because half of all the countries in the world have better a literacy rate and average lifespan compared to that of China."

Maybe you should follow the advice I gave to the guy above, but opt for Maths classes instead. Or are you being picky and saying that not half but only 42% of the world's countries are superior to China? If you are, then I am perfectly in agreement with you...don't worry....you should get better soon.

Hmmm, Global index don't lie, let see what we got here for our mighty Indians:

What a joke, a self-proclaim upcoming super power failed to provide basic need to their people just to stay alive.
Hunger Proliferates In A Democracy; India Tops The Chart By Devinder Sharma

This HDI should put all Indians in shame, talking about "shinning India" ehh?
India ranks 119 on human development index - The Economic Times

No wonder 2 million children die yearly with such pathetic public health care spending, just simply shameful.
India ranks 171 out of 175 in public health spending, says WHO study - The Times of India

Indeed Global Indices don't lie.

Why should India be shamed when even upcoming superpowers like China have an HDI of 89, and that too after including Taiwan, which if separately ranked comes to 18th position. Without Taiwan's HDI figures helping it, China would probably be way below India. We never claim to be developed, we are getting there and we will eventually get a respectable HDI.

As for the Children dieing, it is sad but is being taken care of. It happens especially in poor families with too many children to care for. But rest assured, we are not cruel to the extent of forcing parents to have only one kid so that they will be able to care for that kid properly. We may have poor people, but they too have rights.

Please don't shoot your imagination out as "FACTS", you are talking about the China, the biggest auto manufacturing country on the planet.
Investment ehh? prove it please or else it will be nothing but some bad breath shooting out from your big mouth.
Perhaps the majority of Indians are too poor to own a car, the minority ever lucky enough to own a car might consider it as "investments"
In the mean time, grow up and stop your childish "trash talk"

generally we all ignore you because your country of birth and the current one- let's say small timers should not play in the big boy's tank. But since you thought i made that claim on cars= investment. i thought to inform you- that was made by below_freezing in a couple posts above mine . I merely highlighted it... now back to your corner and continue entertaining us for those who have not put on /ignore list .

Yeah.......I seem to have too much time on my hands today to be even replying to known trolls. I have to admit that I was tempted to comment about his country's economic figures too, but then that would have been grossly unfair. Let him have his fun....

ok..this thread has degenerated to a neanderthal level discussion. Someone asked for stats. For that person, here are stats for one such state:

Minimum wages in Tamil Nadu

It seems like $3 or $4 per day - not that different from the better places in China (from your above post - about $4 per day).

Better places in China? The per capita income in China is 4,283 USD by the latest figures and the urban area especially major cities are much much higher. Shanghai around 18k and Beijing a bit below that.
