Foreign exchange reserve crisis. Taka may crush shortly.

Nathuram Ji, real question here is why is an 'American' guy's butt is hurt over a Pakistani guy's comment about Bangladeshis' visiting India? ;)

Another Pakistani advising others what to do ?

At the end of the day most people want to travel the world and live a good life

its illegal, this exchange. someone should report it.
Whats there to report? This guy just barks nonsense all the time and is not be taken seriously. If you agree to take rs 60 for a dollar then the fault lies with u not the guy who is selling it. In any case, whoever offers Rs 60 for a dollar will inmediately go out of business. I travel to India every year and am literally spoilt for choice for the exchange rates outside the airport. There are like a dozen shops near my apartment that offer rates 2-3 Rs below market value, i got close to Rs 60 for 1 canadian dollar when i visited this time just 2 months ago, and this lungi is claiming that they offer Rs 60 for 1 usd based on what he heard from some other idiot who knows some other idiot who told him.

.
Indian Sanghi trolls here can only keep on barking about others misrepresenting the truth about India.

We Bangladeshis have all been to India - we know what level of misery, negativity and malnutrition that country has.

The rest of the globe knows as well.

Funny enough, hunger and malnutrition in India is getting worse by the day. Situation barely better than one country deemed the absolute worst, which is Afghanistan right now.

Lies and puffery will get Sanghis nowhere.

NEW DELHI: India ranked 107 out of 121 countries in the Global Hunger Index 2022 with its child-wasting rate at 19.3 per cent, being the highest in the world.

The Global Hunger Index (GHI) is a tool for comprehensively measuring and tracking hunger at global, regional, and national levels.

With a score of 29.1, the level of hunger in India has been labelled "serious".

In Asia, Afghanistan with a rank of 109 is the only country behind India.

Neighboring countries - Pakistan (99), Bangladesh (84), Nepal (81) and Sri Lanka (64) have all fared better than India.

In 2021, India ranked 101 out of 116 countries while in 2020 the country was placed in 94th position.

South Asia, the region with the world's highest hunger level, has the highest child stunting rate and by far the highest child wasting rate in the world, the report said.

"India's child wasting rate, at 19.3 per cent, is the highest of any country in the world and drives up the region's average owing to India's large population," it said.

India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan each have child stunting rates between 35 and 38 per cent, with Afghanistan's rate being the highest in the region.

Undernourishment prevalence rose in India from 14.6 per cent in 2018-2020 to 16.3 per cent in 2019-2021.

This translates into 224.3 million people in India being undernourished out of the total 828 million people globally.

Child wasting which is a strong predictor of mortality among children under five years of age also worsened from 15.1 per cent in 2012-16 to 19.3 per cent in 2017-21.

India, however, noted improvement in two parameters of child stunting from 38.7 per cent in 2012-16 to 35.5 per cent in 2017-21 and child mortality from 4.6 per cent in 2014 to 3.3 per cent in 2020.

The GHI said stunting disparities between districts were particularly pronounced in India.

"The example of India shows the importance of considering the subnational context when designing programs and policies to target child stunting.

Researchers investigated the factors that contributed to a decline in stunting in four Indian states between 2006 and 2016: Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu," it said.

The report said the researchers found that stunting fell mainly in response to improvements in the coverage of health and nutrition interventions, household conditions (such as socioeconomic status and food security), and maternal factors (such as mothers' health and education).

"While improvements in household conditions were the most important factor for each of the four states, the second most important factor varies by state.

As the authors conclude, this variability across states indicates the need for contextualized policy and programmatic initiatives to help focus the efforts in the sectors that need the most attention for continued decline in stunting," it said.

The GHI said the world is facing a serious setback in efforts to end hunger with conflict, the climate crisis and the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, compounded by the war in Ukraine are major drivers of hunger.

The report warned that the situation is expected to deteriorate further as global crises overlap.

"Possible solutions and the scale of investment required are known and quantified. Rather, the problem lies in policy implementation and the lack of political will in the world," it said.

Activists and politicians have hit out the government for India's ranking.

Sitaram Yechury, Secretary-General of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) said the government must take responsibility for this era of darkness India has been brought to in 8.5 years.

"Dangerous, sharp slide of India on global hunger index since 2014. Modi govt is disastrous for India. Low food stocks barely over minimum buffer plus rising prices. Government must take responsibility for this era of darkness India has been brought to in 8.5 years. Enough of PR, spin & lies," Yechury tweeted.

Man some of these Sanghis are ugly.

No wonder they have massive chips on their shoulders.....

This is true - @bluesky bhai.

India-Bangladesh boley kotha na. India tey dhoni-goriber byabodhan aro prokot.

Gorib ar Moddhobitto lok-o na kheye onaharey thakey. Oder deshey gorib loker chakri nai amader desher moto.

Bangladesher jei Hindu-ra India tey gesilo, shob ferot choley aashchey.

Uccho Moddhobitto dero chakri nai, unless you are upper caste and have connections.
People do not like when I cite the Japanese system. No govt can alone get rid of the rich-poor difference. But, a govt can induct changes in society by implementing a few measures that uplift the conditions of the poor.

Japan, since the 1860s has adopted certain policies that discourage the accumulation of wealth to a few families whereby they invest the money in the Share Markets and earn good money to continue a rich living.

So, how the GoJ handles idle money in too few hands? It is by imposing Corporate tax, personal income tax, and property tax. But, the most effective is the INHERITANCE TAXES.

When a rich person dies, the Tax Office guys would come to evaluate the price of the deceased's holding and impose an Inheritance tax. It can be 40% of the value above a certain line.

So, if the inheritance value is, say, $10 million, the tax amount may be ($10 - $1) million x 40% = $3.6 million. You see, a value above $1 million is taxable. $1 million is the Basic Deduction. I have put the figures arbitrarily and these are not exact.

So, out of $10 million, the descendants pay $3.6 million by selling a part of the property if they do not have enough cash. When it is the 3rd generation, he/ they also pay a similar % of taxes. This is how wealth is discouraged to be accumulated in a few hands.

The govt uses much of its tax money on public works that create employment and distribute national wealth more evenly. This is how Japan is full of beautiful roads, bridges, highways, fortified canals, and beautiful gardens throughout the country.

How about our Golden Bangladesh or India or Pakistan? A neighbor of PM Nawaz Sharif was telling me that Nawaz has even a Zoo in his house compound. It is because no effective taxation system exists in Pakistan. In this case, Pakistan lacks an effective yearly Property Tax system.

If it is Japan, the govt would force Nawaz either to sell the Zoo or make it a tourist spot whereby people visit by buying tickets. The Govt gets its tax money from there.

The above is an example. The tax system in Japan made it a socialist country whereby every citizen gets his share of the benefits of hard work and the loose tax system in communist China makes it a purely capitalist country.

Without knowledge of how to develop a country, our idiot Hasina Bibi goes to world Capitals to borrow money.
