Forces must be equipped with dynamic cyber warfare tools: Kalam

I am just 22 so ya dad's "young" and alive.

We all have to throw ideas and try and work at them. Some times we get a little over board though..trust me..the posters you may be having confrontations with come in with the same passion as you. Nothing gets one up and sharp as operating in hostile territory.:D

He framed the particulars of the program..the initiative obviously was authorized by the MOE..as that was a policy decision of the ministers.

Haha @ hostile territory! I agree its in our blood. Besides money being the obvious issue, is there any reason why don;t implement Akash on alarger scale? I am not sure if you would know, but I thought I would ask anyway.

May be akash tablet is not mature enough or finding technological problems.

Interesting piece of article on cyber war. Maybe our ex-President choose the topic cause of this fiasco.

INDIA’S TASK

Delhi’s response to the Snowden affair has been low-key; rightly so. For moral posturing on cyber espionage is not going to get India too far. Spying is central to statecraft, since the earliest times. Nor was it ever limited to targeting adversaries; spying never excluded friends. Only the technological environment has changed.

There will be much that the Indian security establishment will have to do in coping with the new challenges arising from Sino-American confrontation and possible collaboration in cyberspace. India’s ability to influence the new geopolitics of cyberspace will depend entirely on the capabilities it builds. While Delhi has apparently been getting its act together on cyber security in recent years, few are willing to wager that India is up to speed with America and China.

The UPA government needs to take Parliament and the public into confidence on how it plans to stay abreast of the global developments in cyber warfare. Mere statements that Delhi is doing what it needs to are not reassuring enough.

Listen we don't have to follow the Western model on everything. India is a new democracy and its ppl has never had any experience with it. Find what works for us. Why wouldn't tweak the current democractic system if it doesn't work perfectly? Why do we insist on following the sme laws of the British 150 yrs ago? Certain things you don't give a choice when it comes down to matters of national security. Make primary education MANDATORY. You are complaining of villagers who may not have a clue of the significance and cannot fathom the benefits. As a result, they are stuck in a vicious cycle.

If you continue to use a fine distinction as to what a govt should and not do, we will never be tackle our problems wholeheartedly. All Im saying is to provide the necessary basic building blocks to help establish a firm foundation fo future success. Do what is in the best interest of nation.

I do not know what that program is but I will try to look it up. Thanks. I agree parents are partly to blame but this is why govt intervention is needed to correct backwardness and push forward quicker and efficiently.

Same to you.......listen don;t comment on my posts if you cannot comprehend it. Move along ****** and its my f-king country. Go rape a lil girl, that;s all you are good for.

Please edit your post madam, such language doesn't suits you.
