In a self respecting country Narendra Modi should have been hanged many times over for being such a controversial political figure. His autocratic methods is combined with his personal leadership in mass organized murder of thousands of innocent Muslims.
His regime also is totally involved in the most number of encounters of innocent Muslims. Even though some Muslims have been wooed by the economic progress that has happened in the State, it does not hide the fact that most Muslims have been treated like third class citizens in the Republic of Gujarat. Even today Muslims there are treated as pests, not allowed to eat beef and not even allowed to burn trains.
I also agree wholeheartedly with the assertion of the author in the OP's article. Our judiciary is not only imperfect, but also biased and Hindutva minded. I mean why was no Hindu arrested after terrorist strikes? We know terror has no religion, so by that logic why are only Muslims arrested for such crimes? The nation wants to know.
The bottom line is that the superiority and dignity of a legal system in our country should not be marked based on what we call the impartial rule of Law, not on legalizing homosexuality or recognizing the third sex - but on finding Hindutva fanatics of this country guilty of crimes against humanity. Only then can the judiciary shed the Hindutva baggage it has been carrying on its shoulders since independence. There are ample examples in front of us. As honourable Member of Parliament, Asad-ud-din Owaisi states, we should go shoulder to shoulder with the Dalits, bahujans, Muslims and other minorities and fight against discrimination against Muslims, (innocent or otherwise).
