Saudis have large army? pls go and check some stats, offcourse KSA doesnt ahve a large(talk less of competent) troop size. Saudi army is more close to Israeli army in size lets be honest. How good are their combat tactics? are they motivated to keep fighting? What experience does Saudis have to fight good war against an 8- year war trained Iran that is big expert in assymmetrical warfare? Technology didnt help US win in afghanistan, Iraq or evn against North Korea yet so remove technology advantage and KSA still cant beat Iran. Saudis cant even beat poor neighbour named yemen in war and Saudis will be able to beat Iran? makes no sense. Iran has already seen Saudi poor war effort in yemen and knows there is confirmation KSA cant meetup in a war against Iran, only with another "coalition"help willl they be able to fight against Iran ok. Why do you think the "sunni anti terror" allaince was formed? because it is obviously now that without that alliance, Arabs have no chance to beat Iran in war. They are not united and their technology wont make the difference.

during next few years saudi army size will be increased to 550k soldiers. even now they have more than 300k soldiers.
in yemen there is a gorilla war going on with strong support from iran. now country have defeated gorilla armies in a month or year. it took US 15 years to fight taliban and the result is 0.
iran is a battle trained army? do their current soldiers fought in 70s war too. iranian soldiers must be 70 year young.
