For Chinese Students, Smoking Isn’t All Bad

INTRESTING FACTS ON SMOKING

Each day 3,000 children smoke their first cigarette.

At least 3 million adolescents are smokers.

Tobacco use primarily begins in early adolescence, typically by age 16.

Almost all first use occurs before high school graduation.

Smoking isn't cool my friends uncle use to smoke all the time and he said what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, it did kill him from Lung Cancer....... certainly didn't make him stronger.

Oh Man Chinese Students do smoke prob on average 6 out of 10 etc.(people)

I don’t know what they get out of it.

But smoking is cool if smoked properly

Peace

Smoking is not cool. Period.

...Unless you're talking about the Bill Clinton (read Monica Lewinsky) way.

:lol::lol::lol:

Hahahaha brother I fully support your belief that it is an evil conspiracy by the CPC. :D

Down with the CPC!!!

They banned tabacco adverting but let a company get away it in one small rural area! They are being INSINCERE (again) and mean!

Using sarcasm to bypass the question asked..are we?

Actually it is you who keeps avoiding the most simple of questions. :P

If the Chinese government wanted to do it, why would they have banned it in the first place? And even now they have the power to overturn the ban if they want, doesn't that seem more logical?

Instead you think they are trying to sneak around the language of the ban, by going after this one small rural area?

Anyway, down with the CPC!!!

I have answered your question atleast twice before ..my reply will remain the same. And I accept I can not verify the claim... but since you are accusing me conspiracy theories ..you must have some proof for your own theory..do you?

PS: it is not in one area but rural areas :dozens of villages in China's western provinces)

I have no theory, I am simply laughing at your conspiracy theory. :D

I just don't see any logic. When they could so easily overturn the ban (or just not ban it in the first place), why would they first ban it, then try to sneak around the language of the ban in one small rural area?

SMOKING MAKES PEOPLE THINKS THAT THEY R COOL.U CAN BLAME FILM INDUSTRY FOR THAT.

I think in India, statutory warning that Smoking & Drinking is injurious to health is shown before the start of the film if there is a scene involving smoking or drinking. Dr.Anbumani Ramdoss even banned smoking and drinking in films, but it was lifted after it was found this ban to be ridiculous.

Give a sane explanation how a state owned Tobacco company is allowed promote false claims on benefit of Tobacco to children..if it is not the govt will?

It shows deceit..they trying to portray something, they are not willing to implement.

Some people just love to pretend principal-agent problems don't exist in Chinese SOEs. I wonder why shareholders everywhere ain't flocking to China to learn what must be the most important lesson in their lives?

Besides has any state owned Chinese media outlet have reported this news?..considering there should have been a moral outrage on this..since there is ban tobacco advertisement..but they are doing much worse.

Since these are state owned companies ..I am guessing the principal share holder is the state itself.

I don’t smoke but I would love to see other people smoking themselves to death.

Just kidding :drag:

If it creates profits then why not advertise it as cool, capiche?

Peace

This article is over exaggerating things. It's not the problem with China, almost each and every country got this problem, some are even drug users.

Cigarette and alcohol should be banned with strict law. Any shop selling these stuff should ask for ID card first.

I don't see children with this age in China smoking, really. I'm 30 years old now, but I never smoke. Even when I am young, I don't see this kind of shit.
