I believe China should have done a mass vaccination move, keep educating people on COVID prevention, rather than scaring them to death, rein on the state media which spread virus terror on the one hand and mockery of opened up countries, on the other.

They also did not see that they were probably mocking their future self.

So, China should follow the wind of the world regardless if its correct or can cause millions of deaths to Chinese people as it did in India and US. Not only him, many people who visited China made very similar comment, you think Musk is just talking nonsense and China government doesn't care about what the public think and feel?

I do not care what most people think. I care that they have the freedom to think and express themselves. Even those ideas that may seem critical of one's own politicians, parties, governments.

I like to see such points being raised in authoritarian regimes without fear of repercussions. Like the A4 protestors did not enjoy.

As usual, in Beijing, you enjoy more Western freedom of expression than the room of maneuver your own government gives you.

For what? for being able to do so? no, i m not stupid as you. I criticize the government when I feel there's a problem and I did it many times both in PDF and Chinese language social platforms. Are you Chinese or Russian? If you are Chinese you should know most Chinese love the Chinese government and hate US', if you are Russian why do you care this much of what we Chinese think or do?
