Yes, and realistically, there are likely more. There are also an increasing number of Dalit intellectuals, businessmen and other influential people coming up.

They are increasingly recognised as an 'decide' group as if you want to win in states like Uttar Pradesh, you must not offend too many of them.

The tribals, on the other hand are truly screwed, as they are viewed with contempt and their population figures are in the low single digits. so politicans hardly appeal to this group.
