On July 15th, 2004, Mr. Blatter, Chairman of FIFA officially declared to the world "the world football was originated in China" in the Third China International Football Expo, and Zibo in Shandong Province was conformed to be the cradle of world football. During the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he indicated again: "China is the birthplace of football. Linzi is the hometown of football. It's the pride of you, all Chinese, and also the pride of the whole world and all people that love football and the World Cup."

indian yoga probably influenced chinese martial arts though... afterall china used to be a big buddhist country...

the problem is, china DID invent a lot of things. but many national chauvinists start to think that other people couldnt have invented the same thing at a later time.

i.e. football.

in england, football was just a bunch of kids chasing after the ball in the school yard without any real rules. this then morphed into modern day football. so did some english sailors watch some chinese kids kick a ball around in china? probably not. we know enlgish game of polo came came from central asia as its recorded. english football doesnt trace its lineage to chnese football.

@laman12345 i have no idea who teached you that.... May be in china education is different. It seems china makes its own history the way it wants.... China should turn peace loving nation. China even made its own history on South china sea. China should look that there are countries around it.... Being aggresive wont give china anything.... In past romans paid for being aggresive. Then germany did same mistake. Japan did same mistake, russia too did same mistake and now china coping them.... The day china turn peaceful nation then world will change. Because of china now america surrownding whole asia.... (by the way china should teach history the way its written. Kungfu came from india and world knows it. Its ok if china teached u wrong history as he do always).... Spread peace and happiness and see the magic. Trying to prove chinese always right wont help but if that makes u happy then i accept anything u have said....
