Footage emerges said to be of President Rajapakse fleeing Sri Lanka aboard a Navy Vessel after protestors storm his residence

. . .
What will you do if papa Showbaz meets the same fate? Now don't tell us that he won't.
Shahbaz has done everything he can to make sure that Pakistan remains solvent. Only possibility for trouble is if allies withdraw support that has already been promised. Let's leave that for another thread. :coffee:

Yeah more blah blah from an irrelivant Indian. Your papa Showbaz isn't going anywhere. Let things get a tad worse. We will see how the people eventually grab this inept looter by his neck.

. .
The people of Pakistan.. this is how its done.

Sri Lanka's downfall started when they saw China gifting loans to the elite in the guise of infrastructure. Countries can't recover from that. The elites will run off leaving the country to the dogs. The same will be repeated in some other countries in the neighborhood soon.
A Sri Lankan women works with me in the office she was saying India is going to take over Sri Lankan

. .
I can only pray that this happens in Pakistan as well when people finally wake up and march on GHQ, Supreme Court, PM House, Sindh on Zardari and arrest these traitors, and publicly humiliate them.

.
They literally voted for them.

So-called democracy in the developing world is easily manipulated. There is no such thing as a secret vote, especially in rural and closed communities where everybody is under social pressure to vote along ethnicity, religion, whatever.

Do you seriously think that all the political talent in Sri Lanka just happened to be concentrated in one extended family?

Pakistanis watching is the problem

Pakistanis need to do the doing too :) 😀

Pakistanis tried and were shot at and killed by the (in)security forces. The Pakistani police have a history of gunning down civilians (e.g. Model Town massacre) and getting away with it, along with the politicians who ordered the massacres.

The corrupt Pakistani government is just.a lackey for the military establishment and the West. That is why there is no noise in the Western media when Pakistani security forces massacre civilians and arrest journalists.

India cannot take over another country unless people of said country does a referendum with majority asking to join Indian union. Just like how Sikkim joined Indian union. However once you are in, there is no way out. Indian constitution doesn't provide for separation.

Literally every other politician that they voted for also promised the same policies.

The one politician that promised a different policy was voted out.

It's very obvious what they wanted.

Economically illiterate populace voting for subsidies on import consumption "paid" for by loans is what did the country in.

It was not a fast process, this went on for decades.

Counterpoint it with Russia, a deeply corrupt country that functions adequately due to adequate economic governance.
