You should blame the founding fathers of pakistan for accepting the accession treaty not us.

Pakistan has never accepted the accession treaty. The Founding father of Pakistan M. A. Jinnah had outright rejected the accession. He said that the accession was not a bona fide one since it rested on 'fraud and violence' and would never be accepted by Pakistan.


Pakistan's position is :

A Standstill Agreement on Kashmir was offered to Pakistan by Maharaja Hari Singh himself, of his own accord; Pakistan accepted that and it is now an international document.

A similar offer was made to India but India didn't sign such an agreement. So, over Jammu and Kashmir, only two parties – Pakistan and Kashmir were left. In the presence of the Standstill Agreement, no other ‘accord’ as to the status of Jammu and Kashmir (including Accession Treaty) could be made at all under international law.

J&K was acceded to India by the maharaja of J&K, it is pak that sent pashtun tribes in to kashmir and is illegally occupying the land.

Do i need to remind you that Nawab of Junagadh, Muhammad Mahabat Khanji decided that Junagarh to be part of Pakistan.
While Indian posters want to take Kashmir because Maharaja acceded it to India while in case of Junagarh they want to talk about people right to choose ! A classic display of hypocrisy !

Very true. We in the south don't see the real impact of a war. We keep forgetting what our brave soldiers have done to keep us safe. Thanks for reminding. Their sacrifices will not go in vain and we will be evermore thankful for keeping India safe.

Seriously though , I appreciate one thing: all Indian casualties are announced and transparently accounted for.

From what I read here, it seems that Pakistan Army does not maintain such transparency and is proved on multiple occasions of being guilty of cover-ups of own casualties.

Well, that's between Pakistani citizens and their uniformed rulers .

At least the Indian army should continue it's transparent practices.

Understand the fear factor when only a few are sniped and kill. This keeps them away from using small arms fire on civilians and thus come in range of Pakistani snipers.
