I was watching some Indian TV (a debate on CAB) and its reminiscent of the BJP fixation on Pakistan as well.

BJP case is totally different than Hasina. India Pakistan both are arch enemy but Bangladesh Pakistan is not. Most of people in Bangladesh doesn't have any negative attitude for Pakistan, but for India they have the negative attitude.

So it will not affect Bangladesh for long time. As long as Hasina gone, all anti Pakistani rhetoric will be finished I think as anti sheikh family will also be gone when Hasina will be gone. And also why anti Pakistan rhetoric will exists if their is no opponents like BNP and jamat? So even if Hasina stay forever, still this will not continue long time.

Let's assume some new political parties who won't have any tie with the past, who have no slander of being war criminals and specially who will not harm the image of Hasina by tagging AL/ Hasina as Hindu/Malaun, and if she will come to power again Bangladesh lose her sovereignty and we will hear uloo sound in mosques instead of azan, bla bla bla... ... ?

Besides now she has strong tie with Deobandis, and Deobandis they neither were razakar( At least well known like jamat)nor are such people who proudly take Pakistan side even in Bangladesh era.

And also the tendencies of equating our freedom war as the war between India vs Pakistan, Muslim vs Hindus etc etc has gone and AL Deobandis tie is a major reason of it.

Pakistan may not attempt to make Bangladesh as failed state, but traditional Pakistan lovers in Bangladesh (jamati Islami who always show their love towards Pakistan more than Bangladesh) actually made Bangladesh almost a failed state during 2001 - 2006, so the statement is Hasina is very true.

Just one thing Hasina never mention that once Pakistan lover now can be used by India to make Bangladesh a failed state ; India will make Bangladesh failed state because of her own interest, while BNP jamat will try to make Bangladesh failed state for their own political benefits.

Besides we all know that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had good relationship with Bhutto, and he also strengthen the ties with Pakistan, with OIC when India was trying to stop him.Later he was martyred with his family members by some misguided soldiers.

So Hasina also has actually no traditional enmity with Pakistan, other than only internal political rhetoric that was necessary for her to survive in Bangladeshi politics, where democracy is in the hand of such mass uneducated and pseudo educated people who have no real understanding of the benefits of Western democracy, and who easily can be controlled by cheap and dirty propaganda spread in the name of religion Islam by some munafiq party like jamat Islam who give fatwa that democracy and female leadership is Haram, and sit in lap of a female chairperson of a democratic party BNP, make make Bangladesh almost failed state ( 2001-2006) and later acted as foot soldiers of the same female leader of Haram democratic party BNP, and create anarchy from 2013- 2015.

So actually Pakistan is not the target or problem here, but Pakistan lovers ( jamati munafiqs who also pretend to be Islam lover and burn Muslims with arson attack from 2013 to 2015 in the name of restoration of Haram democracy under Haram female leadership) and their types are the real target of Hasina.

I am upset about BCL attack on VP Nur. He is not bnp jamat...why they are attacking him for protesting peacefully against CAB? These BCL gundas can be controlled if hasina wanted. Yet we dont see that. Bd ppl are tolerating hasina cause of economec progress but there is limit...she need to control her own party gundas.

She has a personal hate against Pakistan due to Mujib, but every chance she gets she brings in Pakistan to every problem.

Jamat e Islami methodology is completely wrong, they have become a kind of Pakistani elite club in my country and are fully involved in dirty politics in the race for power and the right to rob our people. Today they are agitating with anyone to try to bring down Imran Khan's government.

I don't know much about Jamat e Islami in BD, but from the rhetoric and propaganda that they are former allies of Pakistan, even giving death sentences to their leaders, it is very much in bad blood.

What happened to the national reconciliation which BD did after 71?

Bhutto accepted BD and asked every Muslim country try to accept BD (who held back only to support Pakistan's integrity,) he even organized Lahore OIC conference and made it one of the main goals of that event.

The hate and vilification should have ended there, but Hasina seems happy to exhume long-buried dead skeletons.

I had a big laugh when she wanted BD troops to join India in Afghanistan against Pakistan. Well Taliban made short work of India and Indian collaborators in Afghanistan after tide of that war shifted in their favor.

BD should use Pakistan and China to apply pressure to India, and increase ties with other Muslim countries like Malaysia and Indonesia as well. It would be nice for you to join Mahathir's bloc, but it can only happen when your government stops antagonizing Pakistan.
