What's new

FNSS has Signed an Agreement with Nimr Automotive, a Part of Tawazun Group

Tawzon Nimir light armored vechiles were exporting to several countries including 6 arab countries but problem still tawazon is a young company and needs cooperation with an experience firm to start producing more sophisticated armored vechiles so from here it start an alliance with FNSS . By the way the UAE army uses FNSS ACV-300 and the UAE is planning to produce its own IFV in the coming year by Tawazon , so pretty much FNSS well help out Tawazon in its project.

Tawazon is a defence company set up by UAE government and has huge financial capability with its financial budget and FNSS R&D experience both companies could come up with products that could be exported to other arab countries and southeast asia or Turkey if it meets the Turkish army needs.

Tawazon also recently signed a 300 million dollar deal with Rokestan for TOT on cirit missiles .

After all no one will re-invent the wheel and UAE seems to have chosen Turkey to help it out in developing its own arms industry .

The main aim of UAE is to be self sufficient in producing small arnaments , armored vechiles and some ammunition such as anti-tanks missiles , artellery rockets etc.

By the way Tawazon also bought the whole kasirga family rockets to be produced under license in UAE .

UAE remains a small country with only 1 million local population and 6 million foreigners , anyway the country's government hopes Turkey will help it out in arms manufacturing .

Oh you can directly quote me :) If it's the fancy hummer-like looks that you think will win a tender in Turkey I think it FNSS still loses to Hema :D
Here goes!

in Turkey their chances are slim and they know it :) Fortunate for you FNSS has some good connections in southeast Asia that they deal with Malaysia and Indonesia, Nimr thing can find customers there :) competition is stiff though, very demanding customers

First of all I should ask what do you mean by Turkish and what do you mean by program :)
FNSS produces a 120mm mortar carrier variant of the ACV-300 if that's what you're asking :)

Is it just me or does this thing hold a striking resemblance to the Typhoon MRAP?
Streit Group unveils seven new armoured vehicles of its brand IDEX 2013 Defence Exhibition 2602132*-*Army Recognition

Typhoon itself being also a UAE designed and manufactured vehicle.

So wither Nimr or TYFUN, Tawazun is getting its share in the deal.

Not only Turkey but also South Africa, Serbia, Italy, South Korea, Jordan, France, Britain, Austria, USA, and Russia.

I heard something with a Sweedish company for producing Radars, cant remember their name .

This has nothing to do with tawazun, This vehicle may be manufactured in UAE it may even be designed in UAE but, doesn't mean it's rights belong to an arabian company. Not necessarily. Streit group is a Canada based company and I think HEMA already paid them to buy their vehicles' licence. So If HEMA Industries wins (again it's a very slim chance, most likely they'll get owned by Otokar ;) ) HEMA will get all the money.

Otokar's coming up in the world, they should start marketing in Africa and South America aswell, open some bureaus and join foreign tenders. After Altay their name will be known to the whole world.

Must be SAAB, we consulted them for the initial design of the TF-X aswell

I totally forgot to add the video:
