Flying PIA A review of Pakistan International Airlines’ 777 in “Executive Economy” from Lahore to Lo

For year 2019 ... my preferred airlines are

• PIA
• SAS
• Qatar
• Turkish
• Qantas

Brother,

I wish to sell off PIA and keep its valuable assets in PakState's hand. I would rather have it sublet/contracted.

A wise, economic approach would be to have a tender of Run & PayTaxes rather than this current form of PeePee/MQM/NarcoLeague recruitement/plunder scheme.

Fire all employees and rerecruit those who are on merit... the rest should be axed. Same fro CAA... needs a big purge @ps3linux @graphican

I have traveled by PIA recently and honestly I was impressed not the the air hostesses are someone to look at still.
PIA does need a big purge, unfortunately it is currently hostage to those ba**ard unions. Asset wise PIA is one of the richest airline in the world I remember about two decades back an ex star rank air force officer telling me that all PIA offices abroad are in PIAs own property not a single one was in rented premises.

Roosevelt hotel new yorkers know what it is and what is its worth. I honestly wish I could fire 90% of PIA staff today.

The other side is us, how often we Pakistanis consider PIA as our own asset, man I stopped travelling by PIA internationally particularly on the way back to Pakistan, not due to PIA but due to poor behavior of my dear countrymen.

First improvements are needed from passengers

a) Travel with less luggage
b) Educate your kids to be quiet on airplane rides and don't kick seats
c) Make a line to get on a plane, your seat is booked no one else will sit in your spot
d) Don't stand up when the plane is taxing
e) Carry a small bag with you to put your trash in

Travel with Insurance, in case the trip is interrupted
People worldwide travel with Insurance in case the plane is late they go to Hotel and rest till flight comes

I remember on a flight when the plane was about to land, the air hostesses kept asking the passengers to sit down. No one listened; the staff struggled to control the passengers, eventually they simply gave up. As we were disembarking, a man behind me was in such a hurry to get off the plane that he almost walked over me. Sheer jahil madness.

What I don't understand is why?

What is the hurry? You are not in a connecting flight!
Everyone has to go to collect baggage

Even if you are first one to luggage area, you will have to wait
Every time , I am with Pakistani passengers

Plane lands , Cell phones are out

Everyone stands , like they are free of burden of responsibility of being in UK or North America
Need to stretch do Yoga , and just reach out for luggage from the roof top area

Me : Hey why are you standing ?
Other passengers: Well plane is taxiing and we are in line !

Me: You know the bus is no where to be found?
Other passengers: Yeah ... but we wana get our bags

Me: You know if the plane breaks suddenly, you will get injured?
Other passengers : No a plane never stops suddenly

Me: You know when you try to take your bags out while plane is taxiing , the bag can fall on someone's head ?
Other passengers : What's your point , wait a second a call is coming need to take this cell phone call
