Flying 1,500 KM From A Southern Air Base, IAF's Su-30 MKI Fighter Jet Successfully Test Fire BrahMos-A Supersonic Cruise Missile

Brahmos Aka Oniks of Russia , always had 600km range. Was limited by software to comply with international laws.

Additional 200km are gained by firing from Altitude in air launch.

The launch altitude has to be significant to have this additional range
Firing from lower altitude will have lesser range.
India is a member of MCTR now, we can remove the limitations we had on our ballistic ans hypersonic missiles. 700-900km range or more can be implemented now.

Incorrect Information.

The 800km range claim is false, and can be proven by the fact that the NOTAM was for an area of only 500km and not 800km.

The recent test was to validate Air launched version of the Brahmos ER which has a range of 450 km.

This range increase was achieved by altering the software of the missile thus changing the flight path and travel altitude of the missile allowing for a longer fuel burn time resulting in a range increase.

The 800km range claim is false, and can be proven by the fact that the NOTAM was for an area of nearly 500km and not 800km.

This range increase is achieved by altering the software rather than the hardware to change the flight path and altitude at which the missile travels.

The 800km version of the original P 800 has different length and diameter than the baseline P 800
Nai bhae, Modi hai tou mumkin hai...😁😁😂😂

The RF SCAN seeker is futuristic. This locally developed seeker was used in the recent brahmos test.

Russian seeker is a monopulse RF seeker

While DRDO/ECIL seeker is a dual imaging and monopulse RF seeker.

It has X band SAR based imaging capability and monopulse based homing capability.

This allows the indian seeker the ability to discriminate between targets in a highly cluttered environment both at land and sea.
