If there is a flood on your side, BSF is not going to shoot the villagers seeking refuge on our side either. BSF knows where along the fence they would bunch up and they will be admitted temporarily since BSF knows they are locals who have homes and work to go back to after the flood recedes. With aadhar in place, it will be even harder for stragglers to stay behind anyway.

Some of my closest friends are Bangladeshi. I like Bangladesh in general....so the contrast between the Bangladeshis ive met and made friends with in real life.....and what seems to be a trend in defence board types....intrigues me a lot.

A lot of these issues that come across here I ask Bangladeshis that I know face to face to get a full picture. So this forum is useful in that these issues would never pop up in a regular conversation otherwise.

It is useful to know about Bangladesh, its problems, solutions and continuing challenges since a lot of the answers will also help the underdeveloped densely populated parts of India. That was the main reason I got into this subforum in the first place....but over time 90% of the conversations have turned into India-hate threads.
