Five Different U.S. Fighter Jets Fly Together In Formation

You forgot the Reaper and the Little Bird. Besides the Little Bird saved me and my men more than a few times and it also has the BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHH sound but not as loud as the A-10. (Rumor has it that it is the best "hum" jobs you can experience when it starts firing and wipe that smirk on you face!!!)

Why no A-10.

As an infantryman, I only ever like 2 birds.

A-10 The Hog and AC-130.

I also like Apache and Blackhawk. They should have a word for the feeling you get when

"You fought for a long time, almost exhaust all your ammunition, you are trying to get away from the shit, and you raise your head, you see a Blackhawk come down and pick you up"

. .

I like all of them, each one for what it can do, but a favorite will depend on the role it is being asked to fill. I am like the mechanic who has a favorite tool for each job being performed. :D

.
Definitely F-15 is one of my personal favorites.

But I have to agree with @jhungary A-10 would have been a welcomed addition, considering it was built with input from the Stuka Ace Hans Ulrich Rudel, the Eagle of the East .

And sometimes, only a B-52 "BUF" will do the job. :D

(The mechanic's equivalent, of course, would be the 50 lb BFH. :D )

B-52 is over-kill, if I want something bomb I want them to hit the target and not to carpet bomb the whole thing, especially when I am danger close...

I don't like the little bird, I have been on it once with the 160, it kind of exposed and you don't have as much firepower than a Blackhawk. Saw a dude got his head cut clean off by the minigun on a hawk. You don't have that on the Little Bird.

.
Yeah you are correct, but I kinda like the sound of the Little Bird kinda reminds me of the chainsaw my oldman uses cutting log and stuff. Speaking of "sound", I like the sound of the Huey. I get goosebumps everytime I hear that babbabbabbab sound. You were the 160th!? Awesome!!! I was with 4ID, 2Bn, Lethal Warriors!!!

I was with the 3ID and then 82d ABD, I hook a ride with the 160 and honestly, I don't even remember why.

I think the Little Bird sounded like a lawn mower...….And of all the chopper I have been on, I like the sound of a MRH-90 (The Airbus one) now, call me unpatriotic, but well...….I guess I am..

Had the chance to do a 5 minutes flight on one in an air show here in Oz.

Yeah right as if you really forgot why! Go tell that to the Marines! :mad:o_O

When I was in the service I cannot wait for the time till I get out. Now I'm asking myself why in the world I got out. People pay to experience what we do on a daily basis. :(

If only I can turn back the hands of time, I would never have left!!!

I don't even remember why.

I would send in the BUFs only after the helis have extracted you. There is no such thing as overkill when it comes to firepower. :D

Don't think you can send in the B-52s after they pick us up, these day they are going to need to ask for PID This PID that, nobody on the ground means nobody can PID anything.

Isn't that what carpet bombing cures? Oh fine, no BUFs then. Precision munitions are the future anyway.
