What's new

First time since 1971 ,Pakistan is alone today - Zaid hamid

. . . . . .
Pakistan will never be alone. They have a brotherly nation in the West

Though there is elder brother to your east you will not accept that...... but if you were to meet one in person you will find he is no different than you.... Anyways upto you

Our diplomacy is mostly a failure.

I disagree

We have poor politicians sure, who fail to grasp opportunities but we live in a rough tough neighbourhood

We have an enemy to the east, where our emnity is based on a number of historical and strategic reasons

Afghanistan and the current make up of the Afghan government is an enemy of Pakistan and the demands it makes upon Pakistan are unacceptable

Neither should we bend to these demands, nor should we sit idle whilst our enemies plot and take action

We are neutral with iran and have been so for decades

We have strong links to the GCC but we no longer go against our own interests for the sake of others unless they can bring considerable benefits to the table

We have very strong relationships with the Chinese and Turks and have extensive foreign relations with countries through out Muslim world and beyond from Nigeria to Sri Lanka, to Italy to Ukraine, with improving relationship with Russia

The countries getting bent out of shape are
India (so what we hate them)

We no longer do the bidding for the U.S or GCC they csn rant or rave as much as they want but unless they can provide tangible benefits that enhance Pakistani interests then **** em (although we still have very good relations with the GCC)

just wait for the day when raheel shareef retires. things will get even worse. a combination of corrupt govt and usual coas like kiyani then the most famous slogan in pak will be "pakistan say zinda bhag"

.
Non sense, Pakistan is not. China is supporting us all out now. Never used to happened like this before. Pak-US relations have been like this since ever i.e. up and down. Pakistan has kept themselves out from Middle Eastern wars, so not getting attention cannot be termed as 'alone'. There are no economical and militarily sanctions on Pakistan like we used to had it in 90s so what does he really meant by 'alone' here ?

Really?.. . I thought it started on 14th of August 1947. So our enemies keep telling us.

Pakistan will never be alone. They have a brotherly nation in the West

I as a patriot Pakistani love Turkey and Turkish brothers and sisters with all my heart and soul, just the same as I do with Pakistan. Turkey is our family. We are brothers and sisters. There is no difference. We are 1 nation but 2 different countries. Patriotic Pakistanis are ready to lay down their lives for Turkey. We did in WW1 and we will do it again.

I would say: China, Turkey...and to some extent KSA (though its more love-hate in that case) are all buds with Pakistan.

Turkey actually seems to be even harder to convince compared to China on India NSG bid (from the sounds of things)....even though Turkey has a much larger trading relationship with India (Turkey imported some 5.6 billion USD worth of goods from India in 2015 which is more than 9 times the TOTAL Pak-Turk trade):
