I have driver in Spain n his brother visited him in Barcelona. When he reached there and he took his brother to doctor . Doctor told his that your brother has lungs cancer. They admitted him for 9 months and operated him 9 times and gave treatment of around 600 k euros for free. Then they gave him one year ID card. Second if you sit in any bar or restaurant they will talk to you hours not like French and other eu nationals.
