The BrahMos Aerospace plans to make the first test-launch of a BrahMos missile from the Indian fighter Su-30MKI in 2014, BrahMos Aerospace Executive Director from Russia Alexander Maksichev told reporters on Sunday.

“The works to create an air-to-ground BrahMos missile are under way. On the one hand, the upgrading of the fighter Su-30MKI for the missile continues, these works are on in India.

Meanwhile, the adaptation of the missile to the warplane is nearing completion. We hope that first flight tests will begin this year, still probably with a prototype of the missile. In 2014 we plan to make a first test launch of a real missile from the warplane,” the Russian director of the company said.

Well
definitely Super SU 30 mki would have provision for ALCM brahmos

BTW this time they would make certain modification in the fuselarge of SU 30mki to carry such a big missile

. . . . . .
Yes, it was expeted this year too, so that's actually not good news.

And wasn't the structural modification supposed to be undertaken by Russia first and then in India? So it is being delayed from both sides as well then in that case?

IAF send MKIs to Russia, which will be the base of the future upgrade and that includes the hardpoint modifications to carry Brahmos. I think the author meant the special pylon that the Brahmos Aerospace develops for Brahmos:

Air Variant of BrahMos Test Delayed Until End Of 2013

December 28, 2012

...“Various tests for fitting the air variant of Brahmos onto the Sukhoi aircraft of Indian Air Force (IAF) are being undertaken and the entire work is expected to be completed [only] by the end of 2013, when we will be ready to launch the supersonic missile for the first time from air,” says a senior defense ministry source...

The strengthend centerline hardpoint should be part of the coming upgrade too, so at the end most if not all of the MKIs should be able to carry them. No we don't get Super 30s in 2014, only the first test launches will be done by then and around 2015/16 HAL might change the production to the new standard, when they start building the additional 42s.

Actually it will be far better if we get ALCM Nirbhay 2 with 2,000 KM range along with Brahmos light with 1,500 kg weight

Su-30 can carry 3 KUB-1500 bombs so it can definitely carry 2 Brahmos light missiles (not 3 because it will have to carry AAMs too)

We need Nirbhay 2 too, a 2000 KM range CM which can be fired from multiple platforms along with SU-30 is what we need

and due to its weight(around 1500 KG) all SU-30s will be able to carry 2 of them
