Pakistan , Shaheen-3 , more than 56 Seconds.


On a side note , USA's Minuteman first stage Burnout time is stated to be 59 seconds.

Point being one or all the countries are lying about their missile ranges.
Specially the case of Pakistan's Shaheen-3 and NK Hwasong-14.
Both have similar burnout tines. But NK missile is said to have range of 7000+KM while Pakistan says their missile only has 2750 Km range?

Speed also depends on the initial velocity generated by the main rocket motor + total weight of the missile, flight profile, Atmosphere and drag on the missile body.

Fuel burnout time also depends on how far the target was set. If the test was carried out to test some new tech, equipment, or system on the missile, they probably will not fuel it up to max capacity.

But looking at the vids, Shaheen-3 is definitely faster than NK Missile.

Only that PK missile accelerates much faster and has a bigger second stage.

so what your points, i add than liquid fuel lift more warheads or weight but less reliable, solid fuels are more reliable and long lasting

I was going through news archive from 1999.2000... shaheen 1 missile range at first test was quoted as 500 km....officially

(c) Burnout time. If the missile is higher, it would need to be accelerated for longer duration of time in order to achieve desired burnout velocity.
As for the ranges, the true range of Agni-5 IS higher than 5000km--more in the vicinity of 8000kms. You should have a closer look at the kinds of propellants being developed in India. For instance HEMRL is working on Ester based composite propellants to radically increase the ISP for possible application in SLBMs. There was a test launch of such a rocket in one of those test rigs last year.

Indian ester based missile propellant is for K series not Agani series.
The propellant used in Agni series is the previous generation . Agni 5 is way too heavy at 50 tons and carries too heavy warhead which is also older design, hence lower range than missiles of same weight .

Thats not entirely true. The A-5 uses propellant very similar to A-3. In case you did not know Indian propellant evolved like this-
1) ASLV which gave rise to A-1.
2) A1~A2.
3) A3~A5
4) A4.
A-4 is undoubtedly one of the most efficient solid rocket designed by DRDL/ASL for Agni series. It has only been superseded by Ester based propellant for K-5.
As for A-5, it still has higher ISP compared to the 1.4m dia motor of Shaheen-3. According to many sources, it is more in the vicinity of 250-260s. The modern iteration is going to have even the first stage made out of composites instead of maraging steel.

In order to gauge the performance of solid motor of lets say A-4/5 or Shaheen-3/Ababeel, you just need to see the divergence losses sustained in both, I did a comparison sometimes back and one could see that Pakistani missiles in general suffer from higher divergence losses related to the design of nozzles they use in their solid boosters.
