She was contesting from two seats, she had almost no chance from SIalkot, so instead of standing up and damaging vote bank of PTI and giving PML the win, she stood down. So it is PTI vs PML.

Well if she had no chance then she would have done it before. Why today? Just answer me. And what could have been the impact on PTI's vote bank. And not just that, there are slient alliances in many other constituencies as well. This one just went public (by mistake).

This was a smart electoral move ... I don't think she would extract any personal benefit from it (usually when an independent candidate withdraws they ask for reimbursement of election related expenses) but it maybe more out of hate for Khawaja Asif... If it were not PTI the rise of any other party would have provided some options to the already establised parties... Take for example the N-leagues alliance with Sipah e Suhaba - the militant political party.

But why should would do that just to dent the PTI vote bank when PTI's more seat are in PPP's interest? And more importantly why at the poling day why not before? because announcing it before would have dented PTI vote bank which would have reverted back to PMLN

PPP’s Firdous Ashiq Awan withdraws from NA-110 in favour of PTI candidate | DAWN.COM

SIALKOT: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Federal Information Minister Firdouq Ashiq Awan has withdrawn her candidacy from Sialkot’s NA-110 seat in favour of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate Usman Darr.

Awan had submitted her candidacy papers for NA-110 at the insistence of party leaders. Awan is already contesting for the NA-111 seat.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif is also competing for the same seat.

Sources close to the competing candidates said most contestants had agreed to withdraw in a bid to defeat the PML-N leader.
